can't wait to play it, 2015 is going to be amazing! btw, I'm so glad I had the chance to get a Wii U ZombiU pack for 185
I can live with 720p and 30 fps, provided the draw distance is good and the effects are nice.should have been the name.
I also think that t will be 720p/30, or maybe even 1080p/30. I dont think Nintendo has bullshotted on WiiU yet.
*shrugs*Its going to look more than amazing on the hardware its on.
Umm what? It's one thing saying that the 360/PS3 couldn't run this game (which is pretty arguable when looking at games like Uncharted 2/3 and GoW3, but you could have a point), but saying this game wouldn't run on a PS4 is kind of laughable. The hardware is way more powerful.
That said, the game does look fantastic. Hopefully they work on the pacing. My only worry is that they make this large overworld as an excuse to further ruin the pacing, which is in my opinion the biggest problem with modern 3D Zelda titles.
Yeah, agreed. I really, really doubt the second part is "gameplay", it's clearly a cutscene? It looked like the horse riding in the giant field was gameplay and the more cinematic section was the opening to a boss battle.
So far I've only played Pikmin on it. Which did not please me.
But then again, that's me.
Who buys a console before the games they want have at leasta release date? Since this is a Nintendo platform it was always clear that Zelda would release within a given amount of time, but I wouldn't want to be someone who bought a PS3 for Kindgom Hearts 3, FF VSXIII or The Last Guardian...*shrugs*
In Nintendo we trust.
This was one of the few games that I bought the WiiU for... at launch. So far I've only played Pikmin on it. Which did not please me.

I was merely playing devil's advocate in regards to the PS3/360 comparison. Those two games are incredibly impressive visually (with impressive scale in GoW3), so I was saying someone could definitely make an argument against that.I've seen this brought up several times but how is the use of 3 games that are heavily limited in terms of scope compared to an open world game proof that said systems could then run that open world game in a comparable manner.
Correct me if im wrong but wouldn't running an open world game at the same visual fidelity with as much stuff happening (On screen movement) as we've seen for this be a lot more taxing that running any of those 3 games with their limited scope and scale.

Still, seeing this game play sequence just irked me, because I know how good this could look on a proper hardware device.

My mind is going to melt playing this
It wasn't gameplay, why lie like that? Unless QTE's are part of the game.

Replay with Zelda TV @_@ (I wish)It wasn't gameplay, why lie like that? Unless QTE's are part of the game.
I did not buy the original Wii until very late in its life cycle. So, with WiiU I wanted to get in on the action, day one. So I bought it.Hold on a sec let me get this right, you bought the console at launch when the price would be at it's highest, in order to play a game that not only had not been announced but would be at least two years away and proceed to call the console 'not proper hardware' although the only game you have played on it is Pikmin?
May I ask what the other games that you bought the system for were?
No hard feelings. I hope that's mutual.Fair enough, sorry if I was coming across as pissy btw, didn't mean to. Shame you didn't like Pikmin 3 btw, I loved it :/
You can doubt Nintendo, but there's a reason why people don't doubt Naughty Dog.
I bought the console for the new Pikmin, for the new Mario games (which are great btw), for a new Metroid (nowhere to be seen sadly), new Star Fox, new Mario Kart (haven't gotten around to playing it yet) and of course new Zelda.
Bah, it should have said "I only purchased Pikmin" - I got Nintendo World and Mario Bros U with the console. Blame my sleepy/freudian slip typing. It's a little strange because your original point was that you only played Pikmin 3. I'm not trying to be hard on you, its just that people would find that statement surprising because there are so many good-to-great WiiU games already (unlike PS4 yet, which I also own). Many of them like ZombiU and W101 can be found very cheaply now. Obviously the appeal of any system's games depends on your preferences, but you should consider busting it out of the cupboard and trying out a few things.
On topic: my only problem with ZeldaU right now is keeping my expectations in check...
Naughty Dog... just compare the E3 build of Uncharted 3 with the final one.

Did you really just hotlink images from mister x media to support your flawed point? Because if you were familiar with Uncharted 3 at all, you'd know they were forced to support 3D late in development. But hey, who needs context?

Not sure if posted

There is a trend of Nintendo's stuff looking better in the end product. Not every company is Ubisoft or EA.It´s not important where I got the images. The point is there has been a noticeable downgrade from the E3 build and the excuses won´t change that the game they shipped looked considerably worse.

And the army of people who haven't seen an edited gameplay traler before keeps marching on.
You guys seriously don't know that devs can place cameras wherever they want to capture gameplay?
For me, it's not the first part where he is in the field. It's the second part where the monster destroys the bridge, link throws away the cloak, jumps off the horse and fires the blue energy arrow. If that's is indeed real-time gameplay footage with different camera angles, this will be GOAT zelda.

I dont get why so many seem to have thought that this was anything but gameplay graphics?
It looks great for sure but i never once thought this was anything else than gameplay graphics
Can´t wait for this game.
You are just talking WiiU games, right? Please tell me you are...Game of 2015? Possibly. If not this, then Xenoblade X.
Yeah there wasn't a moment when I thought it was a BS trailer. It all looked doable and in-game / gameplay to me. Especially when he is running from the creature on the horse.
The only part that isnt actually gameplay ( unless the attack automatically changes the camera angle and slows speed down ) is when the camera pans in on Link while he fires the bow. But big difference between a pre-rendered sequence and a simple gameplay moment with a different camera angle.
