I think that Lana being Nayru is spot on

Lanayru is the region/spirit in TP and SS, and is based on the goddess Nayru from older games.

I thought the visual comparisons in the last page were forced, but the way she seems to focus on barriers ("Nayru's love" barrier spell in OoT), alongside the blue theme and that name connection does make it seem like she could be meant to represent Nayru.

They'll probably do this for all three goddesses. I bet they're oracles, sages, etc, who commune with the goddesses. So Lana for Lanayru, Eldi for Eldin, and Faro for Faron. Easy way for them to invent three waifus without seeming completely arbitrary.

Instead of just being themed after the goddesses, giving them abilities to summon their associated Dragon or Light Spirit might give a nice bit of spectacle while tying them in closer to the established lore. Plus, even though she was a massive bitch, I kind of want to see Faron again.

...Also, does this mean we'll get a buttrock remix of Nayru's theme from OoA?

Current roster makes this game TP warriors instead of Hyrule warriors, hope they'll begin revealing non-TP characters next week. Also Link is the only non-villain male character, Cia the only female villain. lol

How brilliant, to base an original character off of such an incredibly well known one. Obviously making the 3 goddesses playable would be a bit OP, so it makes sense to have a character embody them in a perhaps weaker form.

Meh not a fan of this addition. Either one really. Agitha is too minor of a character for me to care apart, and Cia is an ORIGINAL CHARACTER out of nowhere for no reason. I want to play as Tetra dammit.

-The butterfly is stolen by Midna (it seems she will initially, or at least in part, appear as an enemy character)
-Two of the costumes from the Premium/Treasure Box have been revealed. One is Link from TP, the other is Zelda from TP. Remember, these will be sold as DLC later. You can see illustrations of them in the bottom right corner of one of the scans.

Midna kinda started as a villian towards Link early in TP

Seeing Lana run on a giant cube like that and her 3 shield wall move looks supremely badass. This isn't just the first game where I have a choice of characters I'm super hyped about, it's going even further by having more than just 2 XD
I'm rather enjoying this roster and can't wait to see who else they reveal

It's also kinda novel to see people in the vid's comments asking for 'more male characters' for a change. It's usually the other way around
