I need to know if Xiaoyu is in the game so i'll timeshift it as well

Essentially its like the Beta tests we get on console and PC games ,but,in this case, its a really archaic and outdated practice that only like harada sticks to lol

They still prioritize the arcades in 2014 for god knows what reason ,and we'll still have to wait a year or two so that the game is boring as hell by the time it comes out on console.

That was also running on UE4 like T7. Its not just made by Namco or Harada, but the exact team working on T7 too.

I think Summer lesson girl is probably an approximation of what we can expect for the character models.

The end product will most definitely look great.

I have no doubt about that when it comes to T7.

I just hope the customizations look good because they were poorly done in TTT2 (really poor and repetitive textures)compared to customization in T6.(the customization was comparable to main outfit quality)

But niconico streaming is so bad haha. The game is going to look so rough at that resolution LOL.

Namco probably makes like 5x more profit from Arcade revenue than consoles. It's bad business for them to ignore demand from the premium market.

Besides, this way we can guarantee Tekken 7 will be balanced somewhat thanks to this. The console ports for T6 and TTT2 were infinitely more polished and balanced compared to their original arcade releases.

EDIT: Please get rid of Customizations and focus on making dedicated outfits please. I'm tired of looking at abomination outfits with extremely distracting auras online and in youtube arcade vids. Nobi is Japan's top player but when I see him on stream this is what his characters look like. It's tragic :(

I know that the competitive and polish aspect most definitely is maximized by expert player feedback from arcades..

Still the wait is incredibly frustrating.

What time and day is this for EST time zone? Just need to know that so I can prepare myself. So ready for the next battle. I'm really looking forward to going back to 1v1. I love you TTT2 but I just miss that 1v1 feel.

its a shame niconico has such a big market share in japan. wish some stream site would step it up and free japan from "high quality" streams not behind a paywall

^ There's no such thing as "youtube japan". Youtube is considered a gaijin site, and Japanese like to have their own place. They have to share youtube with everyone else.

Although to be fair, i like scrolling comments better than youtube's trolling comment sections.

If you want dedicated outfits, tell them to give you dedicated costumes in addition to customization options. Removing options just because you don't like them is not good. I on the other hand, will spend hours dressing up xiao to make her the baddest ass in town

Tragically, I don't expect anything good from Tekken anymore :(

The first 3 games were amazing. The rest of them were all forgettable and disappointingly un-fresh.
Though not bad games, especially if they were your first Tekken.
but

Will Tekken 7 reverse this trend? I doubt it very much. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Almost forgot about this. Just in time for my birthday too.

Can't wait to see 20 of the Tekken 7 characters, even at 50% visual quality. If it looks good, knowing that it's going to get better will be sweet.

Yeah fair thoughts, I concede that some people do make some really cool designs... but the sheer amount of distracting obnoxious scrambled attires outweigh the diminutive amount of well designed customs. There is NO defense for looking at Draguonv in a Joker costume with dragonflywings and yellow aura emitting from him! :p

I honestly see them keeping Dragunov but I'm biased.

I think one half of the Chreddy's is not making it

Then prepare to riot; Harada has already commented on how even he thinks TTT2's roster was too big and how they're looking to pare it down -- a rough number he gave was 30-35. All the clones from TTT2 are probably gone, but I could see some other unpopular/clonish characters either getting reworked or peaced out.

I don't think Drag will get cut,much less Bob.Bruce, AK and raven are staying too.

Jinpachi is most likely going away this time along with Kunimitsu.

Jack will get a new variation,Panda and christie might get delegated to alternate outfit.

EDIT : Bruce and Raven could be in the danger zone of getting cut.

I missed the news about the cuts, what is exactly known ? They have declared the numbers of characters that will be in the final game or just assumptions ?

Kunimitsu is staying IMO after all the bitching Harada gets on twitter for her. Plus she's consistently top 5 in the facebook popularity polls they hold in the official facebook group for Tekken.

AK is definitely going the same way Baek, Anna, are going to leave because of their faint similarities with Hwoarang/Nina that are pretty much a guaranteed lock.

Bob just needs to GTFO already. (sorry bout)

Dragunov and Marduk were tough calls, but I definitely felt they were more likely to get cut compared to the other characters present in the poll judging by how integral they are to the Tekken name along with their overall popularity.

IMO the shadow of the unrevealed dude in the trailer has to be Jinpachi:

Hence I think he'll be in the game.

But alas they might even go super drastic and even take out longtime characters like Paul and Bears... so we'll see. I simply expecting an approximate 33 person roster including the 3-4 new characters I'm guessing that'll arrive.

Just don't make Yoshimitsu suck, I hate what they've done to him in the last 2 games. It feels like they've been listening to people to don't play with him on what to do with him next.

I hope players like Tetsuo, Noko, and Ranca make a return for 7.

Heck yeah! Can't wait for this. Although I was really hoping that we'd get to see it on the 3rd... Guess we gotta hope for those classic stealth loke test videos for a day.

2 days of streaming is awesome though, wasn't expecting that. And it's gonna be really interesting to see if the whole roster is gonna be there during the test, or if they're going to gradually be revealing characters.

...and in the case of Draugnov, you're talking about taking out the main character of the best player in Japan.

After you mentioned Shin Kamiya that got me thinking. He was given a chance to be a part of the roster when Harada did the poll for Tekken revolution and he still failed to the Tekken force girl and Eliza. And now when we look at Tekken Revolution... I suppose that might be a good indication of who stays and goes actually. And you're right that Dragunov was included in that game. Maybe Dragunov might actually make it hmm...

But anyways... Nobi's Lars pulls more weight than his Dragunov :p

Harada has said multiple times that the ideal roster for the next Tekken is 30-35 characters. But that's not a confirmation despite it being something the majority of the community is asking for.

I guess I should clarify that it's literally ANY TIME after midnight. Japan is 12 hours ahead of EST so I'm just assuming the stream will start in the afternoon. Being a weekend I think it's fair to assume it'll start sometime around 1 PM maybe if the stream will run for a number of hours? Of coarse I could be completely wrong and the stream starts maybe at 7 PM in japan and that would mean it'll start at 7 AM EST on the Saturday haha. I guess we might get more details in the future. You can bet that Wonkey will let us know ;)
