I love Platinum, but I don't care for Transformers so have no desire to play it. Was the same deal with Korra.
If Platinum made say, an Avengers brawler, I'd be there day 1 to show my support.
I can't understand this platinum hate, I really can't. I would have thought that platinum working on a transformers game would be a dream for most people. I hope they have been given enough time to make a quality product, so my fear is the involvement of activist on more than anything else.
Platinum hate? What are you talking about? People are disappointed it's a frickin' transformers game.
So no PC version? Shame.
Hopefully it's a lot better than Korra was, I'm cautiously optimistic.

There are people actually happy that it's a Transformers game but pissed that Platinum is making it.
I don't know why either.
Good, now I can revive my baseless dream of Treasure making StarFox.
If it were still a Transformers game but looked better (Rising quality or whatever) would you be interested?
Since Scaleborne is not getting shown until Gamescom, probably none. Enjoy the Transformers!I wonder how many other games Platinum has for E3...
There are others saying they don't like you platinum either. I can't see platinum working on rising 2 after the recent konam I shenanigans.Platinum hate? What are you talking about? People are disappointed it's a frickin' transformers game.

But the game has zero budget and development time and will have the same quality as a 15 dollar digital download game. I know this because I'm psychic. What we need to understand here is that 1) Platinum's using the Generation 1 Transformers designs (accompanied by the original voice actors), which is fucking awesome in itself. They easily could have gone with Michael Bay's absurdly overdesigned trashformers. And 2) Platinum's full budget action games are brilliant. Look what they did with Metal Gear Rising. Who would have thought they'd not only capture the essence of Metal Gear down to the tiniest props, the specific humor, and the tone of the codecs, but also make a character like Raiden the most ridiculous badass through a truly excellent combat system coupled with outstanding animations? Platinum has the right stuff to deliver the best Transformers game of all time.
"Instant robot to vehicle attacks, slam downs, counterattacks, and infinite combos..." This is the kind of thing we want to hear, people.
This.
Fucking transformers? With all the robot franchises in the World to choose from.
no people arent sure if this is bayonetta / rising platinum, or korra platinum. The game being full price hopefully means its the first option
Looks like fucking Transformers is 2015's version of fucking Donkey Kong.This.

Outrage is nowhere near to the DKC outrage, though.
on Korra? the entire game. all 2 hours of it. or was it 3?
Game length to price ratio is a legit concern for any game.Have we sunk to the point where we're criticizing Platinum for the "length" of their games?
Treasure still makes games?
For some reason I like the formatting in this postPlatinum wouldn't even have to make these type of games
if people bought the games they are known for.
They have two great titles already available this gen, but people
are not buying them because its not available on their favorite plastic box,
and those that do own that particular box don't seem interested enough.
Platinum games are generally very short for their price. Their value instead comes from replaying while mastering the combat systems. That's presumably what Doctor Ironic's point was.Game length to price ratio is a legit concern for any game.
I think it's more that Platinum appeals to an incredibly small niche and that limiting your already limited audience is a recipe for disaster.Platinum wouldn't even have to make these type of games
if people bought the games they are known for.

Best Transformers game ever confirmed.
Well not everyone's going to have the same opinion right? Some may think that Platinum's games are short and have little replayability and that's perfectly reasonable.Platinum games are generally very short for their price. We'll see. The transformer games that are already out are pretty damn good. I'll be shocked if this is better than either of the Cybertron games.
Since it's based on G1, I don't think kids are the main target audience.Concerned mechanics and difficulty will have to be short changed to appeal to kids.
