It highlights an (earned) arrogance on their part though, which is all I'm saying. Amazon isn't on Netflix's level yet (they don't have anywhere near the same amount of original series and their subscriber base is quite a bit smaller), but Transparent has certainly proven that they can dominate the conversation under the right circumstances. Will Man in the High Castle prove to be such a success? Only time will tell, but it says a lot about Netflix's current position that they're choosing to go head to head with their competitor's highest profile series to date (and with an IP that is completely unknown to the general public, to boot).

Perhaps. But given the MCU's extremely sparse population of superheroes and history of public superhuman activity in general, it seems like a stretch for a public figure to have a superhero career that's gone unmentioned until now. All the more so if she's wearing an ostentatious cat costume.
