Now it's another one bites the dust.

Not a Youtuber, but Doug Walker/Channel Awesome has had some marvelous breakdowns over time.
For example there was the time that Doug thought people liked him specifically and not the show he put on, and decided to stop doing nostalgia reviews, and hired actors to do some other weird thing about making movies, which had him losing people left and right until he did an about face and I don't know if he's recovered yet.
And how someone over there tries to have an iron fist over the people they team up with and they lost all their best reviewers and had to partner up with a bunch of unknowns.
Game Grumps lost a lot of subscribers the day they abruptly replaced Jontron with Danny, and introduced their new show with Ross.
Of course, that was more of a knee-jerk thing and people came around when they found out that Danny was actually really funny.
Saw a video recently of an ex-CoD player whose fame went a bit too his head so his community turned his back on him.

Due to some bad stream management, Rooster Teeth's youtube channel lost around 100,000 subscribers in about three days last August. I remember watching their live stats go down about 2 subscribers every second for awhile, and I think they lost around 39,000 subs in one day.
Also, interestingly enough, nobody at RT seemed to give a damn at all. Which makes me think that, unless this level of unsubscribing continues for an extended period of time, it's not that big of a deal.
either those advisors/media managers are not grounded in reality as well...or they are scared to go against the grain/say No/Speak up and against. (The latter being the most likely and the most common from what I've seen while working within big corporations)
Spoke too soon...
These are engagements and should be stacked against engagements, not total subs. They've lost 80k so far. Only a drop in the bucket but consider that this is also pushing against their daily gain of 5-6k subs.
The thing finebros should be most worried about now is the negative attention gaining more and more traction and their sponsors panicking. The sponsors are what is feeding their company, the subs are one thing, but losing the sponsors is going to be their biggest problem right about now.
I'm getting addicted to seeing the number go down. There's something good about seeing people react to bullshit and do something about it.

Their YT channel lost other 3,000+ subscribers in the last 18 minutes, thus slightly more than 1,000 subscribers lost every 6 minutes. If the "1,000 unsubscriptions every 10 minute" earlier estimate is accurate, it means the pace has increased.
excuse me for linking my own tweet but i thought it was just typical how this keemstar dude joined the hate bandwagon (even if what TFB is doing is really bad) when it hasn't even been that long since he himself did something extremely awful

Who's this dude and what did he do?Keemstar is the worst asshole out there, a fucking manchild, hopefully he gets lice in his ass. I despise that fucker.
They'll get them all back and more. I wish they wouldn't but their loss of subscribers right now is nothing.
HAPPY 13 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!!
13 Million Subs! I can't believe how far you've come I am so proud, I still remember when you used to have 14 Million! Time really flies...
Congrats on 13 mil subscribers guys!!! You really earned it
how is it a sweet deal? they take a high percentage of money and won't even let you use their logos/other production media..
they like to use the analogy of becoming a burger king franchisee, but Burger King lets franchises use their logos and media
anyone defending these jokers is a fool
This is so hilarious and addictive to watch
Who's this dude and what did he do?
Oh brother, I'm not starting this bullshit with you again.Provide entertainment?
Bring new eyes to content?
I'm not sure what you mean. I'm certain there are more people introduced to content than the imaginary people stolen away from other channels.

I still think much of the condemnation here is because of jumping to conclusions.
People think they want to control all reaction videos on Youtube and that 'React World' is some Orwellian scheme to make that happen, but they're just licencing their specific show formats for use in other countries, the way some tv shows do.
I unsubbed the minute I saw their first video on the matter, sure the amount of subs lost isn't significant but the fact that they're losing subs in the first place is bad.
So...why'd this streamer put up PDP's subscriber numbers?
Its not PDPs numbers.. it says "example PDP" for the entry field. The channel is another one of theirs.
The one on the bottom right says React and the one on the top left is Fine Bros.
Made the same one myself. My mistake

If there was a TV show or video game called 'React' then I assume it would be trademarkable in their respective medium as IP. I mean, otherwise I could now make a show called '24', 'Blacklist' or 'Scandal', right? Just a number or words. I assume they are just treating their YouTube vids as a branded show and trying to do the same thing. How the hell do you copyright the word "react"? They're not spelling it differently or anything.
