On the one hand, I'm always for educating people, using proper terminology and proposing therapeutic solutions over jail time (for men and women).
On the other hand, she pretty clearly had sex with a child placed under her care multiple times. Nothing MRA about saying "There's not a lot of room for sympathy on this one."

Hes not the victim but he is a victim as his wife basically publicly shamed him by cheating on him with a middle schooler and getting charged for it.
They were in a sexual relationship well before he was 16. It started in middle school. Think 13-14. Hell I was 12 in 7th grade.
I always wonder what the husbands/wives/kids of the offender go through when this happens, and especially when the kids are older to understand the context of what this really is.

The victim is no child. He is a teenager. Doesn't matter how often you claim the opposite.
There is very little about your justice system and societies relation to it that isn't stupid. Racism, private prison industry, insane, inhumane sentence lenghts, judges behaving not like professionals but like they are on TV, the absurd amount of money paid for lawyers, focus on punishment and revenge instead of rehabilitation, inhumane conditions in prison, the absurd jury system. Sorry if that hurts you.

Some of the comments were about a double standard given the "sex romp" language in the news story. However, none of them crossed the line into "MRA gamer" territory. And using "closeted" doesn't give you permission to insult people when they DON'T cross that line. I say we've come a long way from when most the comments were about how hot the teacher was.
There's an argument to be made about how severe a punishment this warrants. But you shit all over it when you start insulting people.

Whether female teacher with male student or vice versa it is still messed up. Things can go awry. Child becomes distant doesn't talk to parents. Misconstrued idea's and concepts. What if one person is more invested than the other? The psychology can really be devastating and the damage can quite be serious.

Think about high school boys. At some point most have talked about which teachers are hot and how you would love to blah blah blah with them. Well if you were actually banging the teacher the other boys are saying is hot eventually you are going to want to brag. All it takes is for the word to reach the wrong person and now everyone knows.
Crazy thing is this happened back in my high school with a teacher who was probably the best and most liked teacher in the school. A lot of us knew what was going on but we didn't turn him in because we liked him and plus personally I didn't want to get involved in shit. What ended up happening is a guy was jealous because the girl was his former girlfriend and when he found out he told.
Having sex with your under 18 student is very much illegal in France.
She is smug because she knows a jury of men will not convict her. That's how it goes. If the woman is percieved as attractive she will get probation and you will hear arguments about how its okay cause young boys are horny etc.
Really need to be concerned with the kid. When this happened to me (wasn't a teacher but woman was 30 i was 15) i ACTED like it was cool and i was the man but in reality it kinda messed up my views on sex, relationships, women, what is and is not acceptable. I even had a bout of depression cause i felt like this older woman had some kinda control over me. I was young no sex education and assumed yeah since Im erect it must be fine.
So yeah i hope someone REALLY sits down with the kid.
Edit: and yes at that age boys are all bout sex or the perception of it. The teacher may not jave violently harmed him but it WILL have a negative impact on how he percieves sex and women. Especially since this was a woman so much older than he and in a position of power.
