Mine was October 9th so maybe that's why...?

Shoot, the order I got in is also October 9th. Hope that's not a bad omen. If there's no email by the next hour or so... then I'll start expecting a cancellation,

Based on the fact that you could order 12, so many people were able to get orders in, most people are not getting emails or order history, and the weird title, I am guessing this was a mistake

Maybe some sort of internal listing that accidentally went public?

Literally how crazy would it be if walmart, one of the biggest retailers in the US, screwed this up twice.

The first time they put the order up a month early and didn't offer anything to the people that got burned.

That's not a charge. That's just a check they do to see if you have any balance in your card. They only charge you when they ship the item, so you're not safe yet.

You could probably work a trade with your extra NES Classic. If none of my friends decides they want the SNES (unlikely), I'll probably be seeing if I can trade someone the extra SNES Classic for an NES Classic.
