Thanks! No update for that yet . I know because I have both installed and only miles got the update 2 hours ago
couldn't have agreed more!Just booted it up and I'm so impressed. Performance RT is the way I'll be playing it from now. I was playing in Fidelity mode because the RT seemed to add some kind of "depth" to the whole presentation and I didn't mind the locked 30fps, but this bring the two biggest pieces of the puzzle together for me. Resolution is nice, but RT and 60fps is nicer to me.
Insominac temporal injection method is very impressive for up resolutionIs the upscaling really that fantastic in practice?
valhalla looks noticeably different in quality vs performance modes and it’s not even 1080p vs 4K
Whenever I can get a PS5DE, I'll most certainly play through the first time in fidelity mode, because I have a 4K TV, and 30fps never bothered me. It's a stable 30, so that's good. I'll try both performance modes to see which looks better on any ensuing playthroughs. Not sure why you'd choose either of the original options when they've combined the features of both.
Good shit, looking forward to playing this when I can get it cheap.

The film grain effect looks overdone here.Performance/RT (60fps):
Performance (60fps):
Fidelity (30/RT):
It combines both... at the cost of more resolution. Obviously some people don't want to be playing 1080p on their 4k TV. (I'd try it to see how it looks first)Why wouldn't you use the mode that combines both

I'm in 1080p too, so the performance choices have been pretty easy for the most part.Ah I didn't read the details, I see lol.
I only have a 1080p tv and the choice seems pretty easy to me.
I was watching some reviews for something last night on YT and the guy was describing 1080p as blurry compared to 4k and it just made me laugh, like blurry? I guess some people notice these things but for me a huge tv displaying 60 fps 1080p looks insane and I can't imagine turning my nose up at it, I'm actually glad I haven't upgraded beyond 1080p yet lol

For me, the depth of the image is added by the increased resolution in Fidelity mode, not as much the RT, but you still get the feeling you had from the Performance RT mode? Thats great, best of both worlds it seems.
Not till now.Did they update the OG too?
Texture resolution is still far higher, RT resolution is as well.the performance only mode has no point now
1080p 60 fps makes no sense if they can do native 4k 30 fps.
Should've been 1440p. I have no idea what kind of bottleneck is preventing devs from doing this. Halving the resolution to 1440p should easily get you enough gpu raw power to double the framerate.
I really hope it's closer to 1440p or I'm going to disappointed in cerny.
No. He trolling you.Are you kidding me?
How do you know its not 1440p?1080p 60 fps makes no sense if they can do native 4k 30 fps.

No one knows the native resolution yet.1080p 60 fps makes no sense if they can do native 4k 30 fps.

This is the way it should have been done from the beginning. Fuck 30fps two ways from Sunday! Can only speculate most people switched to 60 and never went back and the stats encouraged a rethink.
That’s right, we want it all, and we want it now!
