I’ve been a dnb fiend since i heard dj timecode set in gta 3. There was a barge in Paris called the batofar which threw great parties where the boat was literally rocking from left to right to the beat with the sheer amount of people dancing great times!

When I was visiting NYC yeeeears ago, I first heard Blu Mar Ten when I was leaving. Last thing I saw was a partially built One World Trade Center and this track has stuck with me:

Mix the first beat of the bar and hi-hat, for pacing, snare is your sync point..most of the time, depending on the drum pattern

I hung up my headphones years ago, only got one deck now.

To be honest I'd often end up with double beats just trying to match a kick drum , used traktor and mixmeister a few years ago and wished I'd had those as a teen.

I used to be a flight attendant so travelled around a lot and most of the time, the airports were quite far off from the downtown area where our hotel was. So Id always zone out in the bus, staring out the window in this new country there and back the next day. So I have quite a few albums that whenever I listen to them, would always remind me of a certain place. For example:

Daft Punk - Ram: Hong Kong
AtariTeenageRiot - Is this hyperreal : Osaka, Japan
GnR - Appetite for Destruction: NYC
Ghost - Meliora: Zimbabwe

etc
