Was the Halo 3 3.3mil sales number first week or first day? Because if it was first week we know Halo 4 topped it with at least 4mil in sales in the first week. IIRC Reach was the same as Halo 3.

Went 20-1 with the banshee in a Ragnarok Koth game. The game I got my green visor.

What commendation is needed for the green visor?

I agree on the Gauss hog, but the tank is fine by me and fairly easy to take out, as it's slow and there isn't much space to maneuver in that map.

Ditto, my PP is essential for BTB coupled with plasma grenades. I take out at least two vehicles a game that way. Admittedly they're generally driven by horrendous BK's, but they all count.

I'm at the point where I don't even game unless friends are online. Campaign aside from a few games, I don't play solo. It's funny because I used to play solo all the time back in the N64 and even the original Xbox days. When I log on to Xbl, first thing I do is check who's online. I can't play with randoms, especially randoms without mics.

Slow and easy to take out is not an excuse to have such a monster on that map or any other. The map would be enormously better without one-hit-kill vehicles on it.

Tracking lower than Reach, (and Halo 3 I think, but not 100%) in some European countries, including the UK.

Oh I didn't mean it would be a launch title, but I think they'll go with a 2 yr cycle. Announce E3 2013, Release November 2014. Although a 2015 release is more likely.

2013 - Halo 4 HD (with the launch of nextbox, may be early 2014 instead)
2014 - Halo 2 Anniversary

The game is streamlined and if you look closely, you can see a lot of tech in there for making games easily. Spartan Ops is basically campaign with all the cinematic flair taken out, if that's all you have to do to make a new game is put in a story, you can easily get a 2 year cycle out of that with another company working in tandem.

If you take out the story objectives, every level is just 'go here, press this button, stand in this beam, repeat.'

That may be your own personal opinion, but since 2007 there's been a CoD game and it isn't slowing down. I don't know if it keeps rising every year but at the bare minimum I don't think any of them have sold less than the previous year, so it obviously isn't an issue.

I doubt they'll do a Halo 2 Anniversary. CA may do a map pack for Halo 4 with Halo 2 maps though, not that I think that's a good idea.

There probably won't be an expansion style spin-off game like ODST either, I think they'll stick tightly to the Reclaimer Trilogy, and DLC.

Halo 4 will almost definitely be ported to the nextbox, as I expect the nextbox late 2013. They have to announce it at E3 '13.

I think with mainline titles it's completely reasonable to expect a three year cycle. Honestly, given my apathy towards Halo 4, if Microsoft were to dictate that 343 shorten the cycle by a year then I probably wouldn't buy the game. I think the franchise needs a lot of work to get back to the quality level it was once at.

Played the fist SpOps solo on Legendary. What a bitch. It was fun until it started dumping Elite after Elite and I had to scavenge for ammo.
