Toradora! 2

Damn, this show is good. Ryuji and Taiga are awesome protagonists. Just awesome. Blue haired girl needs to show up soon though. I kinda hate when characters are featured prominently in OPs/EDs and then don't show up at all until several episodes in. At least in shows with relatively small central casts like this one.

But how will I recognise you if you're not cute as a button ;__;

The way you used to recognize me.

He can still be cute if he uses Iwazaru.

But Andrei Ulmeyda is so awesome.

You are a good man.

My avatar history through ages:

I first went with a Vivi avatar (from ffx)
Then an Albafica avatar (Gold Saint in Saint Seiya Lost Canvas)
Then this one.

I just changed a little while -like 2 weeks- at the announcement of Pokemon XY for a fennekin avatar.

Did you see spinning roses?

Had to keep my composure up, meeting the guy.

im...bulidng a half wiki/booru site... but its not slutty as those boys and its more intune with its infuences on fashion (both at the high end and low) and socital memes from both the 90's and today...think kanye west's site before he got with kardashian.

I have to know. I have to know how awful it can get.

Also, I don't know why Kio is so hated. He's hands down the best of the three Asunos at the moment, because he actually had the balls to call Flit out on his crap. If Asemu could do that, it'd be great, but at the moment he's playing pirate and running away from his daddy issues and abandoning his waifu and hawt sister in the process.

At least Kio called Flit out for his crap.
you indeed have to know
Gintama 25

Simply amazing. /bow
You've just reached the starting line Now gintama trully begins !
Flit Asuno is a Horrible Father and Human Being 36
If Flit's mother ISN'T leading the Vagan, I don't know who is, because that they are acting in Flit's best interest is made more and more apparent with EVERY step of the way.
Your theory of flit mother wasn't bad but as you saw they found something worse .
Gundam AGE 37

For a moment I liked this episode. Then I realized I liked it because I had seen half of it in an episode of Eureka Seven. Except in that version, it wasn't children acting like grown ups, but actual grown ups, because Eureka Seven isn't for babies.

Still, I confess that painting Ezelcant as sympathetic, and having him educate Kio on who and what the Vagan are is halfway to a decent idea for this show. If Kio switches sides to the Vagan and betrays everything Flit ever worked for, I will recant several of the things I said about this show.
A total breath of fresh air ....for 12 minutes ...
HOWEVER. Something I should like to point out as idiotic beyond all else. Mars doesn't radiate anything. Why yes, EARTH radiates heat but EARTH is a living planet. Mars has been dead for some time now. It has no reason to radiate, so it shouldn't have Mars Rays. SECOND, the proposal that said rays are magnetic, and that magnetic storms make people fatally ill but not in an immediate way is stupid. Why would magnetic storms give you some manner of sickness. I guess maybe cancer I dunno I'm not an oncologist or whatever, but the Vagan are supposed to be a smart enough people to know what cancer is.
My understanding is that the mars planet doesn't have a shield like our ozone field , to contain everything that comes from the sun.
And I still don't buy this EXADB thing. For starters who would ever call something that important an EXADB? Second, how would the ancients have hidden the technology for such advanced mobile suits as the show claims when 1)Euba and Zalam are still carrying on this war with mobile suits allegedly inherited from said ancients that do not seem nearly so powerful and 2)removing such military technology FROM THE ENTIRE WORLD without having someone keep it for themselves while at the same time retaining the technology necessary for Martian and Spacial colonization is just plain stupid.

Beyond that, though, the Vagan have enough resources to maintain all their colonies, build ships capable of making the trip between Earth and Mars in less than the two years current technology stipulates, and mass-produce an army of many different mecha and warships. The sheer amount of resources necessary to wage this war make the sorry state in which Ezelcant's own people live highly questionable. Furthermore, the mecha used by the Vagan are radically different from the ones used by the Euba and Zalam, and have changed significantly over the course of the series, suggesting they're more than capable of designing their own mecha.

So tell me again, Hino, why did the Vagan NEED this database of outdated weaponry?
It's said that the vagan found a portion of the exadb ( luck, deus ex machina , bad writter you name it ) and that's why they got all this technology advantage in the first 2 acts.
You still haven't seen the most stupid thing about this sub plot yet so i'll stop there.
You'll faceplaming like crazy when you'll reach the ending.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE 38

Did Kio just give away Gundam technology for medicine that Ezelcant ought to be supplying to his people anyway? HAHAHA WHAT AN IDIOT. Oh my gosh, I cannot WAIT to see Flit's face when finds out.
I hate every time I see Flit's face.
And now you know why Kio is stupid beyond repair.
How is Lord Ezelcant so young? He's been around since BEFORE Flit. How is his WIFE so young?
A nice mix of medecine and cryo therapy ?
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOUNG LOVERS I ALMOST CARE.

NO I DON'T I HATE EVERY SECOND OF THIS SHOW. OH NO A FRIENDSHIP/ROMANCE MONTAGE UUUUUGH.

Oh hey Asemu and his bisexual pirates are gonna rescue Kio from his friendship just before the girl dies!

These two episodes have probably been the only enjoyable episodes in the ENTIRE series.
Enjoyable , maybe but predictable as hell they were.
Nyanpire is considered bad? I thought it was so-so. Wasn't exactly offensive material.
I'm just saying you need to let your min rest before watching anything else after G.Age regardless of the next viewing show quality.

07./00. [PS3] Accel World: Kasoku no Chouten # <SLG> (Bandai Namco Games) {2013.01.31} (¥7.330) - 10.551 / NEW

Yay.
In comparison to the previous set of games...

07./00. [PS3] Accel World: Ginyoku no Kakusei # <SLG> (Bandai Namco Games) {2012.09.13} (¥7.330) - 17.677 / NEW
08./00. [PSP] Accel World: Ginyoku no Kakusei # <SLG> (Bandai Namco Games) {2012.09.13} (¥6.280) - 15.228 / NEW

So either less people wanted the OVAs this time, or the first set of games actually scared people away from the second. Or there's the more sensible explanation that the anime is long finished by now whereas it was just wrapping up for the first games.

Why was CorvoSol banned? Self-ban to recover from Gundam AGE?

Now that I think about it, I have no idea how people get self-bans. Do they just PM a mod asking to be banned?

I'd say it's probably the latter. I was sure that the second set of games would sell less than 15k combined.

[Neon Genesis Evangelion] - 11

The power supply goes down is corrupted, throwing the cities back a couple of ages. I really liked this episode as it once again shines a light on how this society functions, that's to say that they are virtually pre-disposed to technology. Not least of which, the revelation that the
government is essentially an elaborate AI construct gave me cause for concern
, given the nature of their enemy.

Naturally, the outage means that NERV is completely defenceless too, given that they depend entirely on this source to remain operational. From top-to-bottom, they really are an inefficient organization! Considering it is so secret, these Angels sure have no problem pin-pointing the location.

The problem also renders the pilots stranded, and so they start to make their way back to headquarters. Rei had been quiet for the previous episodes, but here we finally get to see her interact with the Shinji and Asuka as a group. And it was fun seeing the personalities clash, Asuka's domineering ways naturally leading her to assume leadership, only to see if steadily undermined by the hyper-competent Rei. The clash of ego's (or lack thereof) was certainly interesting, and it's clear to see that there is already a whole heap of resentment already festering beneath the surface.

I previously stated my dislike for Asuka, but she adds a certain dynamic to the ensemble, one it had been missing. She feels like a very-human character, in that she very much acknowledges her role as the odd-one out, but at the same time desperately wants to assert herself as capable. In that regard, Rei feels like her natural foil, being the duty-bound "doll" almost. In a way, she represents what Asuka is (or at least perceives herself to be), just with none of that vigour or spirit. It's a curious dichotomy, one that can be seen in to how they operate the Evangelion, with ability almost directly linked with their varying levels of humanity.

I thought this may be one of those instances where an anime was going to deliver one its "nature vs technology" messages, but it was all played pretty straight. Instead, Gendo alluded to the fact "that man's greatest enemy is man itself". That coming from a man who firmly sits atop a shadowy organisation (amidst a dystopian backdrop no less), doesn't exactly fill one with confidence!

And power outage before an imminent Angel attack? There have been suggestions within the previous episodes, but things are becoming too convenient.

Different releases (digital or whatever) of their movies come and go, but the books from Ghibli THE ART Series (ジブリTHE ARTシリーズ) remain the same... as beautiful as ever throughout all the editions, been and to come:

I've hesitated on picking that up on a couple of occasions. Now I know how foolish that was, because it looks glorious.

I wonder how well SAO Infinity Moment will sell, and if it would be impacted by any potential further anime announcements at the AWxSAO event next in a week and a half.

This is probably the most confusing thing you've written, but only because I don't follow the life of Kanye.

well kanye posted all this stuff from other music videos, fashion desings, some times old school blue works... that sort of thing.

Is it possible to see people's avatar history somewhere?

No, but you could if you wanted to.

Take this avatar of Mad.
u is obviously his user id#.
Now, check out the dateline.

Code:
http://asset3.neogaf.com/forum/image.php?u=92114&dateline=1360102486

This URL links with their current avatar. BUT it doesn't progress forward with every post so I assume it encodes the date of creation. You strip it and get the current avatar. You put a random string and you get the current avatar. The only way to get an avatar history AFAIK, would be to toss together a script to catch the dateline changes so you know the exact dateline of their past avatars.

The Cute is like mana from hnnngland.
It channels through my posts and my persona like a flow.

Falling like bread from the sky, to be collected in your hand,
Shared by your works and words, so we may all be in the know.

You have all the time you want to wait for picking up this book series... these have been exactly the same since the time they were first released and I'm sure TOKUMA SHOTEN won't be changing that for a long time (for example, look at THE ART OF NAUSICAÄ one being identical since 1984). And all are always readily available as well!

Nyanpire 1-12 or "3 minutes of Cats and Pizzicato Strings"

Cute anime is cute anime. Lots of antics with cats. Yeah, this was pretty good in fact this wasn't bad whatsoever.

A great palate cleanser after watching Gundam AGE.

If it ever got/gets another season. I'd watch it.

Overall Score 7/10

I don't have time for long impressions, which means that I can't do that much with this episode. It feels very transitional, setting up a new set of themes and mysteries that can integrate themselves into what we currently don't know. Is clarivoyance real, or is it a trick? Maybe all of this isn't actually supernatural?

There's a lot more to chew on. We've got a few new characters here, and seeing inside Sekiguchi's novel was really insightful. I liked the scene with the lawyer as well.

I wonder if my friend who enjoyed Umineko and Higurashi will like this anime.

I'll probably add more impressions tomorrow.
