That representative is outright lying based on the information in that guardian article I listed a page or so back.

Well technically they say "To be clear, the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement team does not monitor direct peer-to-peer communications like Skype chats and calls,". Which is probably true, even if they are sending stuff off to the government.

People can swear on YouTube, so I think they should be able to in an Upload Studio video as well. Especially since so many games are M rated.

I assume MS will eventually put a better system in place, this is just something they obviously didn't figure out how to handle right away. What I wonder is, if you don't swear, but a game has a "Mass Effect" style sex scene -- what would happen?

Skype on pc doesn't work this way because you can't xbox live gold. So I hope they can fix the problem but I'm not sure how.
