This has been confusing me.
This Monolith isn't the same as Condemned/FEAR/Shadow of Mordor Monolith is it?
This is Monolith Soft right? Different companies?
Wow! I don't know much about turn-around time but isn't this cutting it close? Is that enough time to print and ship all the copies people have pre-ordered? I guess I figured it went gold awhile ago and Nintendo doesn't usually report on when it happens.
Yep, differents ones. This one was owned by Bandai Namco and is now owned by Nintendo... The did the baten Kaitos games, the Soma Bringer games and the Xenoblade games.

Not sure if you've ever been to an office party, but generally they are never the same type of "fun" you have with your friends. Its normally you get lunch catered in and get out of work for a couple hours...
The difference here is that they were actually part of building the open world since they have more experience there than anyone else in Nintendo....and have helped develop Smash Bros Brawl, Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Breath of the Wild, Splatoon and Animal Crossing New Leaf.
They're a big part of Nintendo's art team now.
Thought so. It's just confusing they're both referred to as "Monolith".
At least they both make awesome games.
First original HD Zelda. History in the making.

Where is the video for this? I never saw this before.
It's probably still the E3 demo just in a different area.Assuming the version we saw in the Treehouse footage was the final retail game, there's most likely a substantial day 1 patch.
Normally colored picture. You can spot Miyamoto in the front and Aonuma with his back to the camera.
I too look forward to going-gold announcements because of that very reason as well.Seeing going-gold announcements make me happy because of the way that the really solidify the fact that the game exists and is done. Congrats to Nintendo!
What are the chances that a patch will up the resolution of the Switch version from 900p to native 1080p in TV mode ?

Impossible to say.
I wouldn't say 0 no.But not 0 percent chance, amirite
Yes!
And here, for shits & giggles, the HD Zelda thread from 2011: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=427708
Maybe it will have a jump button.
The extra RAM should be used to create a truly seemless world. no "rooms" or invisible walls.
Yeah that would be neat. Just a gigantic world to explore.
Were there a lot of day 1 patches on the Wii U? I feel like Zelda is so big there will be a big batch of big fixes coming at some point. Not saying the quality will be poor, just that it's such a huge, open world there's bound to be stuff that will pop up.

Huh, I guess he'll be going to 2 wrap parties this year. Right guys??

A Wind Waker-like game with these graphics!
Did Monolith make this Zelda? Why is one of their staff tweeting this?

They helped with development and the open world part. They are experienced in huge worlds.
They are one of the ancillary art companies alongside Imagica Digitalscape. Both are assisting in the 3DCG.
What were you expecting? It's just printing to a cartridge and not a disc. Cartridge manufacture would be done months ago.
I was expecting the long lead times cited during the N64 era as one of its many issues.
Huh... I thought both of those games were excellent. Only Zelda I haven't liked in semi-modern terms has been Phantom Hourglass. After being burned by Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, my excitement is tempered for this. I truly hope it will be good and be a good reset point for Zelda.
Bayonetta 2 party only had a cheap cake
Nice! I'd like to attend a Nintendo wrap party. I wonder what they discuss?
"Do you remember when Mr. Miyamoto upended the table?"
"What secret message did you leave in the game?"
"Do you think its an 8/10?"
We can almost admit we like Skyward Sword now. So close.
