They don't give them access because how good of a person that streamers is, it's strictly a business decision. If you were in the same situation you may be one of the people who gets early access. It's just to build up hype and get more pre-orders for the beta.

It's not a big deal.

There is only so much "positivity" a streamer could say before people get their hands on it the next day.

You don't need one! Code redemption is not necessary for pre-purchases through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store, or Steam. You are automatically validated to participate in the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beta. When the Beta has opened, you will be able to download it immediately.

Was wondering how I get the beta code after pre ordering on ps store. This clears it up can't wait to get back from work tommorow and play it.

Lol omg we must generate hype before they get there hands to try it 24 hours later! It's a worthless charade, just let us preload the fucking game. People aren't going to be able to play it anyways when PSN gets hit with maintenance today and then crashes tomorrow due to traffic XD

Trust me to do something as silly as losing the slip with the redeem code on it! I know it's here somewhere!

Really hope I find it. Not really a fan of COD at all. I actually always borrow or get them super cheap for the story more than anything. But with the changes (that I know nothing about) I was wanting to try it out.

I just had a a chat with Amazon [UK] as I am getting an invalid code message when trying to input my Promo code which they provided and they reckon the Promo codes won't work until tomorrow for the PS4.

Are you entering it on your PS4? The codes from AmaZon were meant to go to the BLOPS website.

I think they were anyway, I entered mine there and they said it had been accepted and I haven't heard anything since. It's been pretty badly organised, tbh.

That's what I thought but the agent was quite adamant about it [I've replaced the agents and my name from the transcript]:

11:13 AM BST Me: I checked the FAQ on their site and you can redeem the code before the beta starts
11:13 AM BST Amazon employee: The beta runs from 19 to 23 August 2015.

What's been badly organised? You get your pre-order code, you redeem it on the BO3 beta site, they tell you it's been redeemed and you wait for the actual beta code to be emailed out to you which you then redeem on your platform of choice.

It just seems weird that they have abilities like Ruin's overcharge in the same category as "Get a noobtube with ~5 shots every 4 minutes". That's what it's been feeling like anyway.

I'm sure if you throw a grenade you could set off a chain reaction of explosions

Got to realize these videos are basically scripted on easy mode bots, real game scenarios don't go that well.

Look at the ganescom footage, it was more grounded and people not wanting to use their Supers

I'm not talking about the videos. I mean it's not that bad, but I feel like a lot of the other abilities don't come close to being viable options.
For example, the bow (Sparrow) that Outrider has access to is an awesome idea, but I think the majority of people are going to default to the more easy-to-pick-up option of simply being given a grenade launcher.

Other than that though, I have no qualms with anything.. as of yet :D

EDIT: I lied about that being all. I also think that Evac is a horrible map (for TDM at least). Hunted & Combine are great though!

Uhhh, I think I fucked up. I entered in my code but I never logged into the call of duty site. Although I did have to log in to PSN..did I screw myself?

Since I contacted best buy in 3 different ways I ended up going from 0 to 3 codes lol.

At least I'll have codes for two friends now.

I got to play some of the Alpha it was pretty good, very much CoD (shouldn't surpise anyone) looks to be the same maps as the Alpha and it performed great, assuming this is a newer build since it has more of the classes now.

First CoD game I will be playing since Black Ops, hope it's decent.

When I made the switch to Battlefield 4 I found it mind boggling why I had never played a Battlefield game before.

I already have an Activision ID but I'm so confused now. It just says:

"THE REDEMPTION CODE YOU HAVE ENTERED IS INVALID. PLEASE RE-ENTER YOUR CODE."

And I am on the Call of Duty site.

I also don't understand why I have to log in all the time.
