Seriously? I remembered when me an my class mates turned 15 and all that everyone said was "wohoo now I can have sex!". Period. "Byxmyndig" was the word for it in swedish. There were never any talk of how old the other one needed to be, except over 15 of course.
On the other hand. Taking a photo of your naked 15 year old girl friend in seductive poses was a bad thing. This was 1991 though, maybe something has changed since then.

Anyhow, this is an Epic fail for Tecmo. Theh should never have given the characters an age. Physically they don't look 16 so why say they are? Stupid

As far as I understand it, this is not the Swedish government telling Nintendo they can't release the game, but rather some random guy saying that if they release the game he will report it. Nintendo didn't want to take any chances and decided not to release it. The guy who said he would file the report had already spoken to Swedish police about it and they told him his case was too weak as they didn't think it could be counted as pornography.

The author of the report had no intention of outlawing the game. The aim instead was to highlight why the child pornography law should be changed. The author took his report evidence to the police who dismissed it as "lacking" in evidence. Underage girls in thongs, the police concluded, do not equate to porn.

Tangetal to this we had a case a few months back, here in Sweden, which concerned a mother who was suspicios of her husband molesting her children. So, she filmed him, in secret, mistreating their children to which the police-system arrested her for possession of child pornography and the father got custody of the children. Sweden works in mysterious ways. This is in no way surprising.
