Keep laughing while Supershit takes the slot of a PlayStation IP character and gives it to some dumb 3rd party character who means nothing to PlayStation.
Come on, man. You're really overreacting to the third-party selections. Yeah, we all have the ideal third-party roster in mind, but you gotta acknowledge the reality of dealing with third-parties in this situation. They don't have the final say in who third-parties let them use, so they're just trying to do the best they can.
SuperBot goes to Capcom and says, "Hey, Devil May Cry is pretty important to the Playstation, can we use Dante?"
Capcom says, "Well we want something out of this too, so use new Dante to advertise DmC."
SuperBot goes to Konami and says, "Hey, MGS is pretty important to the Playstation, can we use Snake?"
Konami says, "Well we want something out of this too, so use Raiden to advertise Rising."
What would you rather they do? Potentially disappoint fans by leaving out these franchises entirely? Or do their best to please fans with what they can?
And then Ken Levine personally suggests that they use Big Daddy, representing one of the most critically acclaimed games of the generation... yeah, it's not really a
Playstation character, but are you really gonna say no?
