The better question in why either Pepsi or Coke exist when there's Dr Pepper.
For me it goesThe better question in why either Pepsi or Coke exist when there's Dr Pepper.
I swing both ways. Get bored of the P, switch to the C.
Even when I drank a lot of soda, I never had a preference between Coke or Pepsi. They were both fine. I seem to be in the minority on that, though a lot of people seem to be pretty passionate about this.
Must be the sucralose, they used to put that into coke light here and it was the most vile shit ever. Aspartame is the best sweetener.I drank some diet Pepsi once and thought i was literally going to die it was so bad
Why do restaurants even carry Pepsi products? No amount of money is worth putting your customers through that. I mean what the fuck Taco Bell and Jersey Mikes?
Fixed.
But the market share should come into consideration? It seems like 80% coke 20% Pepsi.. If I were Pepsi I'd fix my broken formula to be more competitive.
Gonna be honest with you all.
They're the fucking same.
Pepsi, coke.
I mean, they taste slightly different, but not in a "one tastes better than the other" way.

I prefer Pepsi, but I'll take whichever one is available. Couldn't care less about getting up in arms about it, either. Diet anything is terrible, though.Even when I drank a lot of soda, I never had a preference between Coke or Pepsi. They were both fine. What are you on about, OP? I drink Pepsi night and day (Diet Pepsi and the w/ Cherry version), and it never goes flat on me that fast. Maybe SLIGHTLY faster than Coke but not much.
Dr. Pepper, for when all you want is a nice cold carbonated cough syrup.
Orange soda > everything
But was still 100% flat 5 minutes after opening the can, a problem basically every Pepsi product has (hi Mountain Dew, why do I have to basically chug your delicious contents in order to fully enjoy every drop?)
Alright, I have a question:
What is this? I've asked this before, here on GAF, to people I know in real life, other places on the internet, and never have I gotten an answer. What's the difference when it's flat? Effervescence isn't really that pleasant a feeling, we drink plenty of other things flat, so it's not the physical sensation people want. I've seen vague implications that carbonation affects taste, but have no such experience. Why don't people want soda (or beer) to go flat? What's the deal?

I didn't say it was disgusting, I said it was tolerable. Diet Pepsi is disgusting though, like all diet sodas.Congratulations for falling into marketing. You may or may not taste a slight difference, but calling Pepsi disgusting and Coca Cola the nectar of all that is holy? Nah bro.
