A well-known professional wrestler and his family were found dead inside their house in Fayette County Monday afternoon.

Authorities confirmed that Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their 7-year-old son, Daniel, were found dead at the home on Quarters and Redwine roads in Fayetteville about 4 p.m.

Officials were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department said the three were found at their home about 2:30 p.m., but refused to release details.

This is what I'm starting to believe.

What I know about Benoit as a person tells me he wouldn't kill his own family, especially rather randomly like this. But I CAN believe that he could find his family dead and decide that he couldn't go on.

And if it turns out that he did do it what harm has been done either way to be honest. I don't think people are trying to play gotcha games here.

We're adult enough to understand that if he did do it it was a horrible thing and that would change how we felt about him in many aspects but I don't have a problem with them proceeding with what they've done at the moment. This is still America. You are still innocent until proven guilty. I have no problem with that notion.

I agree, why are so many people jumping on the Benoit killed his family bandwagon? He could have easily come home to his dead wife and child and been so overcome with emotion he took his own life as well. Nobody really knows the backstory on it so let the memories at least be good ones for a night before all you negative arseholes invade the thread.
