Apparently according to Dengeki, this week's DS sales numbers are the 3rd largest since launch. 1st was launch week, and 2nd was Christmas week last year. So I don't see DS running into any shortages, as it's "been there, done that".

The 360 sold 43,000 this week. It may sell 200,000 over its lifespan.

Actually I think it will do better than 200K. Remember this week isn't really "launch week" for X360 simply because DOA4 didn't launch with the unit, and it seems to be the only game that people are interested in on the X360 (who knows why). Won't actually be surprised to see X360 sell a little more during the week of DOA4 launch.
