Kel was the true star of the show, at least in my heart.
Lets be honest, if that was 100% the case there are far wealthier dudes than Kenan.

Kel kind of had the advantage cause Kenan was the straight man, but the real question is if Kel was capable of Kenan's versatility. Takes a lot of range to make it 10 years on SNL (not that the bar is always very high,) did Kel ever play more than one type of character?

Kel almost always played a crazy dude (my favorite being Coach Cretin). Kenan had a bit more broader roles.

I had to look this up, this sounded wrong. He's the longest running African-American cast member, but Darrell Hammond is still tops at 14 years.
