Wonder what it'll do for the Revolution. Unlike Pokemon, it'll get an actual, full home console version. Should be interesting.

Probably because we've heard it before with other recent FF titles, the wave comes, the sales come, they get great scores and then a lot of gamers realize how hollow the series is.

I think the Revolution is going to be just fine in Japan based on these sales threads.

This is one game, let's see how the next couple of AC games preform.
I can't believe people can stand playing this game, let alone buy it. But I suppose this is a good game, just not my taste. But nintendo is perfectly capable of screwing up the next edition.

those games does not require skills at all.... just patience and thinking you just prove his point dude. and vagrant story and ogre battle are not traditional rpgs, one is an action rpg and the other a strategy rpg...

Im not seeing anything here to suggest that rpgs are any more or less non-games than the braintrainings. Really shallow mechanics that can be exploited by grinding attached to mediocre stories dont make strong "games".

Strategy games are a different beast though

According to GameFAQs, IE Institute developed and published it. Never heard of them, but it seems they have another DS game coming out today, and 2 more later in the year.

With the legs BT2 has, it will be this year #1 seller. Already cruising to near 2 million (by summer) with legs that stretch from San francisco to the Big Apple. FF XII will just have to settle for second.
