Just play it on an emulator...Sectus said:http://www.capcom.co.jp/bhm3ds/img/s-shot6_l.jpg - That HUD looks amazingly bad.
http://www.capcom.co.jp/bhm3ds/img/s-shot8_l.jpg - Has there been any shots of public assembly which did NOT show this one single model as all of the majini? At least there's texture variations on shirt and pants, but it's a bit ridiculous seeing him everywhere.
Darnit Capcom! Announce this for PC already! Even if you directly port it with no changes, modders can fix the game for you! Like replacing models with those from RE5 and removing Claire's pants!
I think I'd prefer playing it sometime this year, instead of waiting 5 years for a good emulator to show up.Boney said:Just play it on an emulator...
You can shoot both ways.olimpia84 said:I don't like how Jill's face look now, for some reason it seems like they changed the model. But yeah, everything else looks amazing and the best part is that they are trying to go back to 'horror' rather than action like in RE5.
For some reason I'm not that much excited for Mercenaries and I'm not sure if the first person view when you shoot is going to work too well, but being the huge RE fan that I am I'll probably end up buying it anyway.
Then get a 3DS. (or a PSP2)Sectus said:I think I'd prefer playing it sometime this year, instead of waiting 5 years for a good emulator to show up.

Well, I disagree! I wanna play it on another platform so I'm gonna mention that. I only mentioned it in a few posts so I'm not exactly making a big deal out of it.Cosmonaut X said:Then buy a 3DS. No point whinging about it coming to another platform - buy it on the one platform it's confirmed to be coming to, or forget about it until it's ported or until you find something else to be interested in.

Wetsuits tend to be skintight, and the game is taking place on a ghost ship. Kinda makes sense, no?John Harker said:Jill's face looks a bit odd... she kinda reminds me of Lara a bit... but damn the game does look good. Though I wish they didn't try to sex her up with tight blue skinsuit. She used to be such a classy lockpicker ::sigh::
If so, why does the Marvel vs Capcom 3 Jill character art depict Jill with the similar or same face she's had in the past 2 RE games she's appeared in (REmake and RE5)?olimpia84 said:I don't like how Jill's face look now, for some reason it seems like they changed the model.
and she has it unzipped to show off her cleavage in the pouring rain *why*?wsippel said:Wetsuits tend to be skintight, and the game is taking place on a ghost ship. Kinda makes sense, no?

Well, as a diver, I tend to unzip my wetsuit as well if the temperature permits it. Most divers do. It tends to get really hot in neoprene suits - they're not exactly very comfortable on land. Sure, Capcom wanted to show some cleavage, and I personally find nothing wrong with this per se, but it's not exactly completely illogical in this particular case. There are really bad offenders - this isn't one.plagiarize said:and she has it unzipped to show off her cleavage in the pouring rain *why*?
How should I know? Maybe he simply forgot to bring it with him. Maybe he boarded the ship by helicopter and Jill by boat. Maybe the designers at Capcom simply thought Chris looks stupid in a wetsuit. I have no clue.Mr_Zombie said:So, why doesn't Chris have a skintight wetsuit too?

Sorry - couldn't resist!
It would rip every time he flexed to punch a boulder.Mr_Zombie said:So, why doesn't Chris have a skintight wetsuit too?
what's bad about it for me is that Jill didn't used to be sexualised and that put her in a fairly small group of female characters in gaming.wsippel said:Well, as a diver, I tend to unzip my wetsuit as well if the temperature permits it. Where have you been? Jill was wearing a miniskirt and a tube top in Nemesis, and now you're complaining about a little cleavage? Really?plagiarize said:what's bad about it for me is that Jill didn't used to be sexualised and that put her in a fairly small group of female characters in gaming.
so, seeing her sexualised just isn't what i want. i love me some sexy gaming characters, but i also love me some balance.
there is no way in hell that she is dressed like that for 'believability'.
it's the middle of a storm. no way is she too 'hot' out in the torrential rain.
wsippel said:Not that I personally care. I actually also like Jill's RE5 combat suit or Samus' Zero Suit, and don't find them overly sexualized. It's nothing like the destructible outfits Aya wears in 3rd Birthday for example - now that's blatant.

i don't honestly think a short skirt and a tube top is the same as showing off your tits in a wetsuit in the middle of a storm no.wsippel said:Where have you been? Jill was wearing a miniskirt and a tube top in Nemesis, and now you're complaining about a little cleavage? Really?

Nothing confirmed. An IGN editor confirmed that developers are being told to be quiet until late January. Then the IGN editor confirmed that there was a specific date. Presumably this is because there will be an event on that date. If I had to wager a guess, that date or somewhere around that date would be the when Nintendo reveals launch info for all regions like price, launch lineup, and date.Ezduo said:What January event?
They are definitely bullshots. If it looks close to those with jaggies and whatnot, I will be impressed.Willy105 said:Well, if you guys are so obsessed in finding out if what the screenshots shows is real, remember that Capcom has said the engine they use has AA turned off when in 3D. So unless they fixed that by now, you should expect to see some pixels when playing the game.
You know what the scary thing is? Those new screen shots look WAY better than the older build those gifs were made from. 20% complete even.DonMigs85 said:Pretty amazing what they can do with a mere 64MB RAM and slow ARM11 processors eh?
I believe that the 3D effect also provides a sort of "free" AA, so the difference should be minimal.Willy105 said:Well, if you guys are so obsessed in finding out if what the screenshots shows is real, remember that Capcom has said the engine they use has AA turned off when in 3D. glancing at the screens posted on this page, i can see the hallmarks of aliasing. i think these are genuine screens that have been touched up a bit to smooth out jaggies. i don't think they're higher res renders, and i believe lighting/textures/models to be representative of the final game.Willy105 said:Well, if you guys are so obsessed in finding out if what the screenshots shows is real, remember that Capcom has said the engine they use has AA turned off when in 3D. I pre-ordered in Canada for that is where I live! Had to put 25 bucks down. Glad I got mine secured though.friskykillface said:wtf, where?

look at the sub pixel elements like the laser sights...
