    Right now OITNB is essentially reinventing season-long narratives with aplomb when it looked, in the early days, like there might be a dearth of stories to tell, a clock ticking on freshness. Not only has the series defied the most dire predictions, even from people who raved about that first season, but it has become better every season.

    It’s a grim season, but there are still enough great one-liners to remind you why Orange has earned a best-comedy nod from the Emmys. The sound bites beg to be screen-printed on an orange jumpsuit. A personal favorite: “I’m not a prostitute. Not even if the guy’s kinda hot in a mean-dad way.” That one comes from Maritza (Diane Guerrero), who finally gets an origin story—and it’s a very funny one. There might be new stories to tell, but on Orange, just like in Litchfield, the OGs still rule.

Damn. Already binge read Preacher in preperation for the show and I'm 1/3 done with Berserk for the same reason. Now I gotta binge Orange in order to get reacquainted before S4 hits netflix.

Well.. I don't gotta. But I'm gonna.

Uhhh Nicky is there but not Soso???? Also super excited for this! Me and my gf going to be celebrating are one year watching it, as it our show together! Also fuck Piper, can't wait till she gets her comeuppance.

Agreed, I loved the first 2 seasons but felt like s3 was a whole lot of not much happening. That combined with Netflix already renewing the show through season 7 makes me concerned that they just decided to keep milking it forever, story be damned.

I'll still be there day 1 this round though, I really hope it'll be good.

RE: Ruby Rose, Nicky, Bennet, Pornstache, Larry, etc. I miss some of them too, but if the show is going to stay fresh for 7+ seasons, then they're going to have to phase out some of the old characters and bring in new ones.

Yup, which is why they drop a busload of new inmates at the end. But they should bring Ruby back. She was great.

Taystee, Nicky and Sophia
aren't getting as much screen time this season since the actresses careers have taken off a bit and they are busy with other projects.

Here's hoping it is a good one. Season 3 was a step-up from 2 but still had a lot of problems. No Ruby Rose is good, I can't believe they hyped the character up so much only for Stella to be terrible.

Season 3 was fun but very aimless. I know they didn't want to do big bad every season but you sort of need something.

Hope it's a good season. I'll keep watching though as long as it's entertaining. It's kind of tradition that I binge watch this show as fast as I can every year.

Some episodes are pretty miss and some of the emotional whiplash (lighthearted to deep/heavy and back again) can be rough, but this show is overall great.

Will probably binge through new season this weekend.

For some reason I thought this was out tomorrow. This is probably the least excited I have been for this show since it started, but I'll still probably marathon the whole thing later.

And I've just now discovered that the Spanish Netflix only has seasons 1 and 2 of OITNB. They don't even have 3 yet.

Just finished episode 1!
I enjoyed it, was really fun and enjoyable. I have to admit I love the idea of Piper suddenly thinking she's hot shit while everyone else just thinks of her as the same loser Piper. Poussey's shocked reaction to the cooking show lady was great.

The hit-man having "Bad Day" as his ring-tone was hilarious. Lolly and Alex's interactions surprised me the most with how I enjoyed them. The scene where the hit-man was still alive and Alex killed him was intense. Then it went back to being hilarious when the other lady is all "yo, what we gonna do". Can't see this ending well, though.

Piper being named as the top-dog can't work out well for her, but at the same time her new mentality of thinking she's cool also means she basically loved the idea of it.

Complaints is that Bayley cop. I get they're going for the "funny dumb security guard" but holy shit is he annoying me already.
