UK/EU store only?

The blog links to the PSP version of LBP, not the PS3 one. That might be a mixup.fixuis said:yeah, is this for the u.s store as well? does this mean that the psn+ service will mean that we can have digital copies of all our ps3 games..even full sized bluray ones? lbp is a full bluray disc title, sony must have digital copies of other games too..this could be huge for people like me who hate changing discs. :O

I think he mean 3 month package, not free one.OldJadedGamer said:3 months is only there *if* you pre-pay for the first year:

Eh? He may want to have a go with 3 month package cost $17.99 to see what it like.Terrordactyl said:Goddamnit no! He said they were offering 3 month subs and 1 year subs and quotes both of those prices, and he said everyone can try it out 3 months free. You realise you can go back and watch it conference right?
The EU PS Blog has it.fixuis said:where does it link? i cant find it. Also, it says, "we'll throw in a free copy of the award winning playstation 3 title littlebigplanet" ?

Loudninja said:So far:
-You rent 12 PSN games,24 minis , and 12 PS1 classics, for a year subscription.
-Premium avatars and dynamic themes each month * You keep these*
-Access to selected demos and beta trails
-Full Game Trials
-Automatic Downloads
-Qore subscription
-Discounts on PS store content*you keep whatever you buy of course*
Could be better but not a bad start.
CronosBlade said:I would think they'd change gamesharing not to allow this (or go Final Fight style DRM), but then again this is LOL Sony.
user friendly said:Basically Qore^2?
AH! makes sense why content got cut from Qore's 2nd year. Anyhow if PSN+ starts at the end of this month, on July it will be my last episode. I hope they offer a discount to PSN+ for us Qore members.krae_man said:Pretty much.
The second year of Qore was destroyed for this. I hope Sony offers Qore subscribers a discount as a make up for that.
Edit: So, does this whole "First hour free" thing mean a crap load of Retail PS3 games are coming to PSN?
Don't know if I want to download 9gb just for a first hour demo. That would take forever not to mention rape my 60gb bandwidth cap.
truly101 said:I was actually a bit interested in PSN plus hoping that a $50 membership or $9.99 a month might give me access to stream whatever movies and videos they have in PSN, no such luck. I have NEtflix, but their download selection sucks donkey balls.
j-wood said:Have they said if you get to keep access the free games after the month for that game is over?
So, after 2 years, you have 24 free games (as long as you keep your subscription of course)?
That seems like the most reasonable and customer friendly way to approach the problem.Yeef said:There's always been an "expiration date" on games and videos under information. I'm guessing when your first download it it sets the expiration date to match when your subscription expires. So when your subscription lapses the games 'expire' but stay on your hard drive even though you're unable to play them. When you renew the expiration dates of your games update to the new date.
That's all conjecture, but it seems plausible. I've never actually bothered with the video store; what happens to the stuff you rent when it expires? Does it get deleted or just become inaccessible?

But are we sure the free content stuff is additive? Or do they just cycle monthly what your free content entails? I have kind of a hard time believing that every month you get an additional PSN game for free, but hey, who knows?
