It was totally genuine. The game is a blast to play. There were so many memorable moments from those sessions that came about organically because of the sandbox their building.Commentary seemed very genuine to me. I mean, it's a bunch of Rare fans playing, how can it not be?
This game looks so rad
Did you guys have any idea you'd be a part of the E3 video? It was totally genuine. The game is a blast to play. There were so many memorable moments from those sessions that came about organically because of the sandbox their building.
One of the guys in the trailer works with me on Rare fansite and podcast. (He's the one that is very excited about the captains quarters.)
Here is his full hands on with the game.

The game is so much freaking fun and it really does look that good! Dem waves!
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'll try to answer at some point. Pretty busy at E3 right now
Nothing gets me more pumped for a game than watching corny people play it...
This was by far my favorite game at the show.
Just love the style they are going for. The idea of you having an actual crew that has to rigg up your boat to make it sea worthy is so rad.
Also that water was AMAZING
What they showed during the conference looked really bad. But I'm not sure if that was due to the game or due to the shittiness of the exaggerated shouting of the "players" pretending to play the game rubbing off on my perception of the game.
Feeling forced to put in people very obviously pretending to enjoy a game is not a sign of confidence. Good gameplay speaks for itself
Those were all people that made videos for a contest to get a chance to play the game first, some of em are on GAF.
