Red dead is just an excellent game. La was terrible. Boring gameplay with shoddy visuals and an extremely lame plot.

This. I accidentally played it for an hour and a half yesterday, and I was simply trying to prove to my girlfriend that you can crack safes in the game.

Random Broken Sword sale! GET.
I always miss on these during the big sales because they are just far enough below my interest level that I spend the money elsewhere.

Also Call of Cthulhu is a buggy, crashy, freezing pile of crap.
The game is very good and has aged strangely well but man do you have to work really hard to keep it running.

One section I had to not touch the floor to keep it from crashing.
Another section I had to push a bookcase as fast as possible to keep it from crashing.
And yet another section I had to drop the rez to 640x480 and turn off sound to keep it from crashing.

Testiment to how much I like the actual game that I put up with all this shit.

Ill agree with LA Noire being a bit disappointing...I still need to finish my PS3 version but I just cant bring myself to care about it.

The investigations were billed as something more organic and open ended but really they are impossible to fail and the game is about as linear as they come.

The facial technology is impressive though.

RDR on the other hand is one of the best games of all time and a PC port would be incredible.

Hopefully it's not a forced 2 pack like the summer sale. I didn't buy it because the price was 12 instead of 6 because of that extra copy.

It isn't a 2 pack, its a bonus free copy with your purchase. They might effectively net the same result, but the price for a copy is $24.99, and you get a free bonus. Think of it like getting a free hat, only better.

The money would go to Rockstar, who has their own team doing the port entirely, since day 1.

My time with a rental on PS3 was enough to convince me NOT to but it full price when it hits Steam. It's a very hit or miss game and I'll wait till it's around $20 before I add it to my collection.
