Greed Corp is not good. It's super hard at the beginning and the only reward for getting over the hump is using the exact same 3 or 4 units on bigger and bigger maps until the end of time.

Actually there is only one unit and the beginning is super easy. There is however a cannon tower and air transport. There are bigger and smaller maps, involving different challenges. Like I said lack of variety in units (there is none and the one unit is the same for all factions) might be off-putting to some. It's more like a board game.

Not sure this is the right place to ask this but I figure someone here must have experienced this. Whenever playing any source game I constantly have loading issues, always when loading chapters in L4D2 and TF2, it's taking me over a minute to load maps/levels. I have tried turning off multiple cpu rendering, turned off anti virus/firewall, defragged steam, redownloaded the games. I have no idea what is going on and wondered if anyone had any suggestions? I have a high end PC so it shouldnt be a issue to play these games, i7 2600, 8gb Ram, 560ti.

If I'm not mistaken, virtually everyone in the world has this issue. At least, my friends and I do. I think it's just the Source Engine being the Source Engine.

When I click on the 'store page' link on the library, just takes me to the front page of the store. When searching for it via the store front, I only get the launch trailer?!

Gmg doesn't use IDEAL, uploading funds to paypal takes a whopping 3 work days with my shitty shitty bank (and monday is a holiday here).

I have a tendency to procrastinate.

Some day I will buy it Probably on release day when I am motivated because I want to play.

You should be able to just make a purchase through Paypal directly; if your PP account can't cover it, Paypal will draw the funds from your bank itself. This might only work if you have a credit/debit card tied to your Paypal account though, and YMMV depending on where you are.

It's best when approached like a board/puzzle game. People expecting an in depth turn based strategy game may be disappointed. For that, there is Massive Assault. I thought Greed Corp was fun for what it was.
