The artwork of the girl in a cheerleader outfit wearing Day of the Dead makeup is hot as hell. Have they shown that off before?

GAF needs a stick removal service on call 24/7 for some of you asses

I chuckled; it was a good video for a good looking game

It's from the box art.

Wow what is it with all the negative comments about this game. Last thread i checked it
was all positive. What happened?

I'm predicting a record amount of day 2 trade-ins for this game, the hype strikes me as entirely unjustified.

Probably shouldn't respond to a blatant troll post (i.e. that comment history is pretty awful)...but you think you'd at least wait for footage from E3, and/or comments from people that have played it there, no?

Two words: System. Wars.

The wet blankets being thrown by people in this thread is sad and pathetic.

This a company just having a little fun. Why are people acting like somebody pissed in their Cheerios?

Geez this is almost as bad as Bayonetta 2 situation and Titanfall.

Pretty happy about this game and happy that Insomniac is getting some recognition for their talents so far at least.

I wish it was multi but so do others. Enjoy XONE owners, maybe I'll eventually buy a system for this game a couple of others depending on tomorrow's conference.

Looking at Twitter and apparently they got a unplanned police escort for the bus. Plus, the bus got hit by another bus.

Off to a good start :p

Bringing my post here since the other thread got locked:

I reeeaaaally liked the gameplay footage they showed, nice level design, the enemies now have colors and parent issues, interesting new weapon, great potential with the amp system (assuming that time when he jumped on something, it exploded and took tons of enemies was only possible because the player knew he had that amp equiped and activated at levle 1).

My favorite thing at E3 so far.

My negative feedback would be those two things (at least that I noticed for now):

Rolling with the right timing should probably boost your style meter a little, or at least make it so it won't deplete, it's skill and should be rewarded. (Or not, maybe you already tested this and don't like it).

But this one is kinda important: What's up with losing my style meter because of the boss(mini boss? whatever) intro cutscene? Fix this shit.

IGN have gone hands on with the "Chaos Squad" mode.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/06/10/e3-2014-hands-on-with-sunset-overdrives-crazy-co-op-mode

Sunset Overdrive's 8-player co-op mode was confirmed at Microsoft's E3 2014 press conference alongside an October 28 release date.

Though you all have a common goal, you're still competing to earn the most points, and you earn them much like you do in the campaign -- by killing with style. The map I played was filled with rails to grind, objects to bounce from, and things to explode. It's acceptable to run around on the ground and treat Sunset Overdrive like most shooters, but it's way more interesting to rain down icy death from the rails above before jumping down and shattering your foes.

Chaos Squad can be accessed from Sunset Overdrive's single-player mode by entering a photo booth and taking a selfie. Your single-player character, which can be male or female, and customized in any way you'd like, is available to play in the co-op mode as well.
