After the news that Showtime execs are going to be meddling with Masters of Sex and with what they've done to Homeland, I'm pretty much done with Showtime.

For those who are gluttons for punishment, expect one good season. No more...

I like Ray Donovan.
I liked Masters of Horror.
Hopefully the Dexter abortion will earn a few good seasons of this.

Why? The later Dexter seasons might have been meh quality wise, but they were still hugely popular and both Homeland and Ray Donovan launched on Dexter's back. Without Dexter it will be harder to launch new show on Showtime successfully, not easier.

Is it really news that networks give notes on shows? And the first season has been fairly lauded. I don't think there was any such news that Showtime will "meddle" with Masters of Sex anymore than any other network "meddles" with their own shows. Your degree on enjoyment of their notes might vary, but, come on.

I started watching Camelot because of Eva Green. I even made it through three episodes before my disgust got the better of me. So I'll definitely give this a try.

It would literally be impossible for me to agree with this more. I can't believe after the absolutely great season of Masters of Sex that just concluded so many people's response has been "Welp, Showtime's gonna fuck it up." Christ, I thought I was negative.

The whole Showtime runs things into the ground is such an overrated argument.
