Damn. Tried 3D, but it just doesn't seem to run properly. Even though the game runs at 60 fps most of the time in 2D, it crawls at around 10 fps in side by side mode. I looked at MSI afterburner and my GPU was only being 50% utilized. :/ Turning down settings didn't help much so I guess my CPU is getting hammered in 3D or something.

The question is: will 360 fan be as unclassy as the PS3-CallofDuty lot in demanding petitions and attempting to sue? I hope not, but can see something bad resulting. I never experienced a single problem connecting in TDU1, so how something this bad can apparently happen is beyond me. Isn't this what paid testers and the beta was for?
Hopefully Eden/Atari will offer some intended premium DLC for free as a means of apologising.

In terms of the issues, I guess on the bright side I can trade my game back into EB for full credit before Monday and then pick it up again down the line when the problems are ironed out...but unless it sees a quick price drop that's not really much of a benefit for me (as I don't get refunded tax).

Glad I have both the PC and 360 version. Would be so pissed if I couldn't play it this weekend if I only had the 360 version.

When I tried to start TDU:2 (xbox 360) today and it just kept showing the screensaver thing, I really thought my save game was corrupted. Turns out that its not, and when it gets stuck like that I guess some people have been able to play by not connecting to xbox live.

circled the hawaii island earlier. going to get going covering all the roads on there soon. was driving around a bit earlier in my vw beetle. a lot of people admiring it and wondered how I got it :arr I see the car on hawaii1 is a 2cw, holy shit. will get on that immediatly :O~

Just played an A2 cup and it actually starts to get kind of challenging there. I have my Enzo now, in black with the black interior with red trim. It's a freakin beast. Unbelievable how well it handles even at high speeds, how quickly it reaches top speed, how easily it keeps top speed, and how quickly it brakes.

- Jumped over another car that was moving the same direction as me. Now that's how you pass with style!
- Brushed off an oncoming car which pushed me into a bush which sent me straight up into the air and flopping upside down onto the roof of a house. It was pretty amazing.
- Scared an oncoming SUV into swerving so hard that he tumbled over, but then I ran right into him at 187mph or so, launching him high into the air and adding extra spin to his roll. That's what you get for ruining my drift approach!

If any of you are in Oahu and have a vehicle that can go 200mph, I highly recommend going far east of the Airport then turning back west and continuing as fast as you can. There is a bump at the end (preceded by a small bump) that sends you FLYING. I got to $1500 on the FRIM just from the flying and rolling that I did.

Played only 2 hours of the game but PC servers ran great for me. Game runs really good with everything maxed on my rig (after I updated my Nvidia drivers).

I keep hearing about issues with this game but I've probably put in about five hours and the only real problem I've had on a technical level is the leaderboards not loading and the MyTDULife thing-ma-jig. I can wait for them to fix those!

Eh I'm kind of stuck right now. I still live in the trailer and I don't have the money to buy a nicer house or the car to go in the b races. They keep wanting me to level up my character before I can tuneup my car more so i can't win the races. Is there an easy way to get money in this game?

Look for the bomb symbols on the maps, which are challenges that only appear at certain times for a certain amount of time - the best ones to do are the convoy missions, where you have to drive an expensive car carefully to a destination. Depending on the car the reward will be between 10,000 & 30,000, but sometimes you'll have to wait for a convoy mission to appear. Also, you can instant challenge other players you meet in the game for some easy cash if you win.
