I thought I saw someone do it a couple of pages ago in this thread. I don't see why not.Captain N said:Can you take screen shots like you can with the iPhone & iPod Touch?

I have yet to scratch my iPhone in anything more than a minor matter - that is including two bicycle wipeouts and the fact that I keep it in the same pocket as my wrench and keys.Lucky Forward said:Hey, I haven't followed this thread and I know next to nothing about the iPad and Apple's other touch screen products, so pardon a dumb question:
I see there's no case or cover...will the screen get scratched as you tote this thing around with you from day to day? And does the screen get covered in fingerprints as you use it?

Maxwell House said:Comic Zeal on the iPad alone is worth buying the iPad for. Reading comics on it is absolutely PERFECT. I am in love.
I think that you guys won't be alone in feeling this way.Seth C said:Just experienced the same thing. It feels so, very, tiny.

1. For the fastest charging, use the iPads included 10-Watt USB power adapter. This will fully charge the iPad in a few hours, even if youre using the iPad at the same time.
2. When connected to a high-power USB portsuch as the ones on recent Macs and the iPhone Power Adapterthe iPad will charge, even during use, but more slowly. (We havent yet determined how much more slowly.) Some third-party powered USB hubs provide higher-power USB ports, but many dont; similarly, the USB ports on most Windows PCs dont provide this additional power.
3. When connected to lower-power USB portsthose on older Macs, most Windows PCs, and most USB hubs (powered or unpowered)the iPads battery is not charged while the iPad is awake, but is charged (again, slowly) when the iPad is asleep. Whats confusing here is that the message Not charging appears in the menu bar when the iPad is awake, which might lead you to assume that the offending USB port can never charge your iPad. But rest assured, Apple says: once you put the iPad to sleep, the battery will indeed charge. (If you could see the screen while the iPad was asleep, it might even display the charging icon. Its the modern-day Does the refrigerator light stay on when I close the door? mystery.)

Not somewhat. Greatly. Makes what was already frustrating on the iphone, more stark by comparison. The many videos around the web of the ipad are no exaggeration. It's very snappy. Next iphone will, fingers-crossed, have a similar improvementRez said:so I take it interface lag has been somewhat reduced (edit: in comparison to the iPhone/Touch)?
like, that keyboard would sometimes lag to hell in third-party apps or Safari. Is this still the case?
Yes, so-called universal apps. And yes, they can make ipad-only apps. Essentially, the ipad is backwards compatible.Gowans007 said:Can devs make them work on both (noticed some of my iPhone Apps are dual)?
But they can also make a whole separate app you have to buy for the iPad?
Hold down both the on/off button and the Home key. Saves the photo to the photos app.besada said:How did you post the screens to the web?

Seth C said:Comic Zeal update! After using it so more (and after a nap) I notice that it does have a slight page transition effect. It isn't fancy like the iBook books, but it is there. Just a bit of a "wipe" I guess. Also, the delay when changing pages when using CBRs isn't that bad. Worth getting to keep them in full quality and not re-compressed.
