THE best DS Lite case

I carry DS games in my wallet, they're so small that you could easily fit 2 games without feeling it, they're no larger than a credit card... I shouldn't need more than 3 DS games at any one time when I'm out of the house (2 in the wallet + 1 in the DS itself).

Circuit City is giving away this free case with a DS Lite purchase.

I've had the same Gameboy case for literally 15 years, I've been constantly using it for m Gameboy stuff, and luckily my GBA stuff fit in as well. But I actually had to throw it out last night for two reasons. One, the DS lite is too long to fit in the system spot, but the main reason was because the foam padding of the case had started to fall apart, leaving a pile of crusty dust on all my cartridges and system. This thread will do me well.

I plan on using a PSP case and an oakley sunglasses bag. Haven't picked them up yet so I am using the little foam slip it came in in the meantime.

This is the one I use. Holds a shitton of stuff and you can keep the AC adapter handy. KK Slider FTW! :D

I have the same on but in blue!

I dont use it though, it has my original DS in it. My PSP is in a Logitech case and my DSL is in my PSP softcase.

Anyone have any experience with these? Any idea it's just a throwbag with one general compartment, or if there are specific slots for a DS, games, etc?

I think they are general purpose but with extra compartments for your tampons.
I just wish I had a better gauge as to how big the bags actually are, if it'd be feasible to actually use one as a purse of if they're mini-sized for the DS...

A birthday is coming up, she loves Animal Crossing, and she needs a new DS case.

best case IMO for the price and for what i wanted was the little $10 mario bundle thing. best 10 bucks i've spent in a while! the sticker is really dumb IMO, screen protectors wud have made this the ultimate value. FYI i cut off the extra ring attachment thing on the back above the belt loop to make it as slim as possible. here is a pic of my ds lite stuff (u can see it in the first pic) :)

i actually did not do that...i bought the only copy i could find for under $30 (actually under $40 -ebay prices are nuts) used at ebgames. I paid around $20 with tax for it but it had no box...I called in to reserve it so i guess the guy was bored so he made box art for me, LMAO :lol

Patience my friend. In time your avatar, thread creation, and sig changability will seek you out, and when they do, you must bring them before me. They have grown strong. Only together can we turn them to the Dark Side of the Force.

that explains that...i found it very funny, and when i bought it the guy kind of chuckled and said "best i could do" trying to keep a straight face. i just found a website with the actual boxart so i'm going to print it on good paper and slip it into the box. now if i could find a manual...

Has anybody ever delt with Toys N Joys Online? They're the only place I've seen that has those Hori cases in stock, but I've never heard of them before in my life. They trustworthy?

Soo.... anybody? Think I should bother ordering from Toys N Joys or would I have just as good of a chance at getting the lite case if I drove downtown and tossed my debit card out of my window?

I've had good experience with Toys N Joys, but it was five or six years ago. Just haven't had the need to order from them since, and I hear they now have a tendency to list out-of-stock items as in-stock. Still, I'd give them a chance, I don't think that case is particularily rare.

I bought this one

it's a little thick at like 2" to 2.5" but it lets me carry my ds lite, charger, and way over 10 DS games at least. and it comes with a reversible pouch that doubles as a cloth to wipe the screen with.

Not bad for $10.
Thanks to you I picked this up last night and I love it! Has plenty of storage, but it's not as big as that full-sized folio (made by the same manufacturer) that doesn't even have a separate game holding panel.

I also picked these up to store my games (site is Circuit City, but Best Buy has 'em):

Sexy, slim holder that lets you see what's inside easily.

Right now i am using this to cover my lite

then i am putting it in my old ds bag which looks like this

until i can find one made for the lite that also holds around 20 games

I've got one of these pouches for my original DS, so it's a little big for the DS Lite, but it's really well padded and it looks snazzy.

When I finally upgrade to a Lite, it's likely to go in my exising case...

I don't have a DS Lite, but I just jam my DS in my pocket.

As for PSP and GBMicro, I use the slip cases that came with them.

Here are my pictures of the Hori DS Lite Multi Pouch, for anyone who is interested. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Its pretty well constructed.

mine came today and all in all I think its the best. good protection, nice design, space for games and extra stylus and a variety of ways you can carry it.

but....i dont think your supposed to put your charger in there :lol makes it far too bulky. i've seen other people put ds/gba games in etc.

The ones given out at the NWS for free are pretty neat. It's a black and white zipper case which snugly fits the DSL and quite a few games (in a seperate, outer pouch).

I've got an existing case that I received for Christmas that I might use for now...but I don't carry the thing around very often, and tend to keep my games in their cases. I'll be on the lookout for a new case, but may end up with just a sleeve to protect the system when it's out and about and so I can place the system into my bag without any worries. Right now I'd just toss in the DS as is...and that can't happen with my Lite.
