Noriym said:As an owner of SF4, Blazblue, and KoF12, I think that King of fighters 12 is being terribly underrated.
Yes it has limited backgrounds and limited single player gaming options, but this game is made for multiplayer, with a frien or someone online.
I have a blast playing with my buds locally and while the online interface could have been better, SF4s is not any better than KoF12s.
The basic gameplay is rock solid and the visuals are amazing. I like it a lot better than Blazblue and BB was rated high.
My score 8/10.

tzare said:just received the game yesterday, so far loving it. great gameplay, superb animation and graphics. It lacks extra modes, but that was no surprise, once netcode is , hopefully , fixed, this game will be endless. And as said before, is really underrated.
btw SvC on neogeopocket was awesome, much better than original CvS imo
The strange thing is this is also true of Cardfighters Clash. Neo-pocket versions were great, then along game the DS version... ugh.Lyte Edge said:You look at this game, a Neo-Geo Pocket title, then SvC Chaos, which came out like four years later, and wonder what the fuck happened. :lol

Is anybody really dissing the game play though? It's just (legit) complaints about the content and online. No one seems to hate the way it plays.
WickedLaharl said:still no oiffical word from snk about what they're gonna do about the glitches and busted ass online?
i wanna open my copy but i need snk to give me some hope
GrayFoxPL said:Glad to see more positive impressions. Yeah, the gameplay is just fun and all the changes make it really fresh experience.
Oh yeah, I remember you!![]()
Like I said I only had 1-2 fights on acceptable speed. One guy sent me a message saying he's from Holland and I'm from Poland and we still had red bar slomo match. Within Europe!
Lyte Edge said:Now this was an underrated (or maybe that should "overlooked") title. Packed full of content, different game play modes...it rocked!
Its sad but trueLyte Edge said:Ever notice this kind of thing only happens with the games you really want? :lol
GrayFoxPL said:So I got like 1,5 of decent match on 20 slowmotions. Yes, not good.
I hope Europeans will buy it on on the pal release.
I dont deserve to be the OP of this thread ;___;GrayFoxPL said:Fuck man. That's shitty.![]()
:lolarstal said:BTW for the Euros complaining. In the US, I get red bar playing East Coast- West Coast.
Yellow bar I've seeen as far out as Houston and one spot in Mexico surprisingly (though I felt lag there despite yellow bar, and the dude ragequitted)
Someone really needs to do a flowchart Joe.
Fersis, you have a 360? If so, get 360 version perhaps? Better netcode at least.
hidepsyence said:Hey, i'm from Europe too and i've the game (still haven't tried it that much, just came back from vacation), hit me up on psn if you want to try : shinwaIT : )

Short version:
Start --> SLASH KICK! --> Did it hit?--Yes-->Cornered oponent? --Yes -->Mashinegun punch!
About machinegun punches for Joe, Clark etc. Please explain something to me...
Does it require milion button presses per sec for it to come out?!
I don't know if it's because of my crappy muscles, the fact I must play on a pad through converter but what the fuck?! It feels like I must mash the damn button faster then in KOF96!
I'm pretty sure that people are using turbo for this online. For this coming out without one wiffed punch is ridicilous.
arstal said:No it doesn't. It seems to come out easier then Honda slaps. It's not turbo.
With Ralf, if you do it the minimum amount it's mostly safe (some chars can punish). Do it any more and you're eating something at least, though not a projectile. (projectile will clash) Occasionally if your opponent is REALLY good, you can mash it out and it will hit them as they expect you not to.
It's not as braindead as it looks.
GrayFoxPL said:Easier then Honda slaps? You got to be kidding me. I can pull off slaps and other mash moves easly but this is really killing me.
Maybe the converter drops fast presses.
Did you try it on a pad with your thumb? Please do this and tell me how it goes.
arstal said:Still easy. I tried pad after some frustration with hcb, f moves. I have trouble with those on a stick. Only thing I have trouble with in this so far, outside of CC's.
I actually wish it was harder so when I try links I don't get it by mistake.
Lyte Edge said:This happens to me in the PS3 version only. It's when I get matched up with people who show blue bars.
Good luck man! My copy is shipping this week (supposedly).Fersis said:Just called another importer.

Mad Max said:I read these forums way more than I should actually. I know SNKP used to follow these forums to make sure I never gave away any secrets but whether or not they still do I don't know.
Anyway, it's been more than obvious what's wrong with KoF for close to a year now. SNKP was/has been made aware of this since the start and they've never bothered to make necessary changes to bring XII up to an acceptable quality. You'll have to draw your own conclusions as to why that is because I dare not say.
Frankfurt said:There are voluntary mods, but according to regulars there, he is an actual employee.
Frankfurt said:Two things.
One:
We all agree that KOF XII is pretty barebones.
But, what if this game were called something else, like "SNK Rebirth" or even "Garou 2"... and it had 12 characters (10 + 2 playable bosses). Plus endings, a story mode and an extra DVD or CD or whatever (some extra gimmick).
Same gameplay. The 12 characters are your 12 favorite characters from the roster.
Would you like the game better?
Would it be worth your 60 bucks?
Two:
The Ignition mod spills the beans:
Shit, meet fan.
Suddenly those wacky rumors sound possible.
