Hmm definitely not feeling good at this game anymore. Health feels lower to me, or at least I seem to be dying a lot easier. But I'm not getting any good connections. Hopefully as more Aussies come into it, I can get a better idea of how the game plays

Definitely preferred the slower pace of the first beta

Yeah, game feels....different from the beta. I can't kill with the g-mal anymore because of the recoil, ak seems the same, and para seems to have more recoil as well.

Something has definitely changed from the beta.

Yep, definitely preferred the slower pace myself, besides I think TPS games should always play a bit slower like UC2. Fast pace gameplay works with FPS games not TPS, imho.

Indeed. There seems to be this layer of grime and jank added since the beta. Definately feels like more of a hassle to play.

[edit]GGs last night btw, inanna. I was your buddy in a few of those games and was watching you stealth around and kill people when I was dead :D

UCOG lol.

I'm liking the MP. Maps seem pretty good, and I like all the customization options. I'm guessing there will be some clothing dlc. I remember being pretty good with the AK in the beta. Not so much anymore. Now the AK just shoots all over the place and I've started to use GMAL.

You guys can add me if you want. I probably won't be using mics with you because I'm not too confident about my english. My PSN id is in my profile.

Good games, man :D
You didn't have to snap my neck while I was admiring that statue, though ;_;

I think this may have the best music in any online shooter I've ever played by far.

I was wondering if they'd be able to surpass what they did for the menu music in Uncharted 2.. not only does it seem like they've done that, but I'm totally loving the music that plays during the game near the end of matches.. or when there's a power play. Amazing.

Hmm, 20% downloaded now, can't wait!

Very interested to know if the stats will carry over to the retail game for eurogaffers, might buy a ps+ sub next week for the EU demo if they don't.

Is Elena playable from the start?

Unlocked at level 5, which is close enough to the start.

I started the beta on the US version and then downloaded the EU beta once it was available and all of the stats were the same. It's not solid evidence that it'll be the same this time, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I'm not feeling as good at this as I did during the beta, but I'm assuming the average skill of everyone playing at the moment is higher than it would be if this was open to everyone. Plus it's really early in the morning in America and the people that play at 5am aren't exactly the most casual of Uncharted fans.

Well, I made it to level 26 already and while I'm having an OK fun time, I can't really say I'm enjoying the MP like I did the beta. The beta after the patches was IMO, perfect. They just had to tweak a little bit of stuff afterwards and it would have been great. This multiplayer feels different from the beta after it was patched. In fact, I'll go as far to say that it feels like the first days when the beta was released with all the problems that were later addressed in the patches. Something just feels off, but I can't put my finger on the exact problem. The guns sound great and I'm glad they didn't reuse them from UC2's. They actually sound badass now. Some of the music is awesome, and there's certain tracks that just doesn't suit Uncharted to me at all so it's a little bit of a mixed bag.

I love that the characters have new dialogue and things to say so it makes it more lively and it really does make the matches more entertaining to me. I'd love to have more voices added in by the time the retail game hits. It'd be pretty cool if ND did something like RE5's simple dialogue by pressing a button and picking to say thank you, or help me. Shit like that. It'd be neat. The custom villains all sound the same to me unfortunately no matter what voice sample you choose. The enemies in UC2 at least sounded different in their own ways, which is something I prefer. Same goes with the generic custom hero skin. And speaking about voices...I can barely hear them! The music and weapons overpower the voices so for example when you're a custom villain, you'll barely hear your character grunt. I had to lower the volume settings to hear stuff, lol.

I'll post more impressions/feedback when I have time. Time for bed.

After playing some matches, I think I can say I preferred the speed of the beta. Will play lots more so I can reach a more definite opinion.

Played a bit last night, enjoyed it but the game really isn't clicking. I loved Uncharted 2 MP, so I hope I can enjoy this after some time. I just really feel like the weapons aren't as satisfying or responsive.

Maybe I just need more time with it.

I wouldn't say that it feels like the first days of the beta, a lot of the problems then were technical and this is much more polished but it does feel off. It's odd that they decided to change it when the mechanics at the end of the beta felt so solid. I noticed the bolded too, is Greg Edmondson still composing the soundtrack?

Awesome game. Not finding much to complain about but the GUI was messy and confusing when I started as I hadn't played the betA.

Love it

*fixed. not the guy was messy. The GUI was messy.

This is so, so fun. Easily better than UC2 and it feels smoother than the beta. The game looks gorgeous, the levels are extremely well designed (they make UC2 look so basic), and I love how music plays during matches. That's something I've missed since goldeneye and perfect dark.

Fuck gamespeed, they've removed something I really f liked in the beta. Your bullets made a distinct sound when you actually hit your targets, letting you instantly know if you're missing or not. They've removed that. What the fuck ND?

True! That was great. Bringt it back pls!

Yeah seriously the music is fantastic
Indeed, had the 7.1 headphones on and was loving the score, especially when it ramps up with 5 kills left.

I want my U2 shotgun back :(
The lack of autoaim is fine, the bullets being weak as piss in comparison to a sliding melee is BS.

Hey,

Is there anyway we can get a PSN ID thread going so we add each other to play the beta online.

PS- If anyone wants a Subway code, PM me or check the original thread. Working on getting some dummy accounts set up! :)

Well at least I'm not the only one getting murdered here. A good game for me right now is a 1:1 k/d ratio.

I don't like the changed gamespeed, I don't understand why this was done. Who the hell complained that the game should be faster? I understand we were in the beta but jeezus I have to relearn the game again.

The game speed is perfect. I think the issue here is that you see it running fast and smooth and think "omg COD!"

Feels like that euro sport where people jump all over the place. Damn it fits uncharted perfectly.

Yeah, now that it's mentioned, the impact sounds are sorely missed. They really need to be brought back. Also, either the run speed needs to be turned down a notch or two, or the amount of stamina needs to be shortened a lot.

You can't change scenery cameras when you're dead anymore. :|

I truly would like an explanation. It was a fantastic idea and implementation, really helped. :|

Holy damn, jumped in a deathmatch, Syria (looks great btw) and I was definetely not expecting that speed. I could even burst the gmal a second time because they would just roll out and sprint and grab something and shoot my slow face :(.

The beta was good but this version feels even better. I'm very happy with the speed it feels more like U2. Having a great time.

The hit detection feels very off. The matchmaking is terribly slow as well.

Health also seems higher than the beta, not having the best time right now.

Sprint is deadly now. It has gone from a mechanic that was used sparingly to something that is crazy unbalanced. There's just no middle ground with ND, is there? :P

BTW, where's the booster to carry multiple mods? :(

Revert back to the beta. Seriously. Were there any complaints about the beta gameplay?

Everyone was complaining about sprint in the beta. Not that it wasn't fast, but I thought it was too sluggish changing directions. So far, I think it's much better in the final version.

Here's a nice trick: if you want to change the music playing in the menus, double-tap L2. I don't think I need to explain why it happens :P

Think I just saw Jocchan in a match a minute ago. I was glitch321, had no clue what was going on lol. Had the gmal but everyone was AK + melee. So I had to switch to that. Didn't expect things to be so hectic lol.
