The first Oreshika always had a nice cover. And goddammit, I did not want to buy a Vita.
Huh? There's heaps of RPGs like that, this one is actually really unique.

My wallet may not like it, but i haven't regretted picking up a vita this year for one second, such an amazing bit of kit.

Well, we just got Soul Sacrifice Delta and Freedom Wars announced for localisation today also, and they're both the same as this in that you create your own character. I want something from Sony akin to Legend of Dragoon.
Well there was that rumor from Verendus about Sony working on a big rpg project to rival Final Fantasy. Something about them putting their all into it and if it fails then there is little chance of them attempting something this grand again.
This is nothing like SSD or FW outside of not having a set protagonist. There are dozens of RPGs available with set protagonists. This is a really unique title with a structure that is built around its story and gameplay elements. I can't understand why you would complain that it's not generic enough.

I seriously doubt that mainline Dragon Quest will be leaving Nintendo systems anytime soon, MMOs aside.
Dragon Quest 8 was a ps2 game he is talking about a remake probably based off the ios version if they did it. Also I doubt 3ds is going to get another mainline DQ game I can see those going mobile all the way with how well they have been doing on there.

I know it's nothing like those games otherwise, I'm just referring specifically to the create your own character feature that I wasn't particularly fond of to begin with, but now feel like I'm being swamped by with all these new announcements. And yes, there are plenty of JRPGs out there with proper lead characters, but not many on the Vita, and even less that are good.
I'm not complaining that the game is generic. Never said it was.

I was wondering the same thing. If sony is letting these out early, they still must got a fair amount of ordnance still stockpiled for the E3.
DQ7 was a PS1 game that got a 3DS remake, so that's not exactly setting a good precedent for it showing up on a Sony system.

Not speaking in terms of quality of cast so much, but rather referring to a Sony first-party RPG that had a main character whose appearance and traits were set in stone. That's all.
