Sony announces gamescom line-up (incl. Journey, Until Dawn, Unfinished Swan for PS4)

Good list so far...Hopefully Media Molecule is the big surprise game and Sony announces new PS4 features (media playback and OS customization Yosh!)

Might be better than E3 who knows...

Vita...?

Damn that's some effective acting. Haven't seen whatever it's from but I enjoy the gif.

Journey on PS3 had a perfect IQ, i don't see how they gonna prove it much, I don't think 1080P for this type of game and art is major.

Really curious about until dawn though, really liked the B movie inspiration, so much cheese! It could be perfect for VR.

I'd love to know what black hole Joe Danger Vita fell into. The game was said to be "almost finished" months ago when they gave an update on the PS Blog. I've even tweeted them recently asking if we should expect an update soon, and they don't even give a response. :/

I recently had a go of it again on a much larger 1080p tv, and it was definitely clear I was looking at a 720p image. The bump to 1080p is gonna be nice.

This thread is actually my first time learning that Bloodborne exists. It looks really cool.

Never played any Demon Souls games because the whole point seems to be difficulty and frankly I don't have the time or the patience to deal with that anymore. Maybe when I was 15 during summer break. I'm hoping Bloodborne is a more typical game when it comes to difficulty. Challenging but not torture.

But that's probably unlikely.

With Media Molecule's game likely being shown here, I really hope GG's new WRPG is also shown. Also, where the fuck is Rime? One trailer in a whole year and not a peep. Would love an update on that and would love 1/2 surprise titles for the PS4 like Rime to be announced during Gamescom.

Considering how lacking Sony's E3 Conference was this year, they have alot saved for GamesCom I think with surprises :D.

GG's WRPG and MM's PS4 game are almost curten to be present (as the former was supposed to be showed of at E3 but was pulled for some reason while the latter was just hinted with a odd video a few days ago). I also think Studio Japan's big PS4 game is going to be showed off too (as doesn't Sony have a big game from them being announced soon?) and maybe we will see some nice surprises for the Vita too.

With the Vita, I'm willing to expect more PS3 Collection ports to be announced (Ico Collection and maybe Prince of Persia Collection), Journey and Unfinished Swan being the 'big' ports to Vita and another great highlight reel of the swarm of Indie games landing on the Sony eco-system of platforms. I would also hope for the 64GB card to be coming stateside soon (maybe coming this fall with PS TV?) but that might be expecting too much :l.

I am interested to see how Until Dawn is going to look though. That was going to be a PS Move game for PS3 but it got delayed for at least 2 years at this point. I would like to think they are using that and MM's games to highlight the Morphious but who knows :l.

Can't wait for GamesCom to come :D!

Sony is going to port every little PSN game to PS4 and ignore Wipeout HD, aren't they? Not impressed with their PS4 "efforts" as of late. Unfinished Swan is especially flabbergasting.

:O Well we should be getting gameplay soon!

People not reading the OP fully, the list is of playable games only.

The PSN games getting remastered have Santa Monica Studio (incubation) in common.

Was journey a 30 or 60 frames game? It always ran son smooth I never cared but now I'm curious

That could be a major improvement, journey at 60 frames would be even more beautiful than before

Can't wait to see Journey on the PS4. It was already beautiful on the PS3, so I'm eager to see how much prettier it'll look with the visual upgrades.

Bloodborne and Grim Fandango remake were the only new title announcements that stopped E3 from being little more than a distraction from Nintendo Treehouse streams this year imo.

Thanks for the lists! Totally forgot about Frozen Synapse on the Vita. So excited, it's the perfect platform for that game.

Wouldn't have thought Flower would benefit much. Sure does.

The list isn't in the link anymore. I don't think this was the full list either.
No Rime and Shadow of the Beast? :_(

The Rime developers hinted at the game being playable at Gamescom.

In terms of new reveals, it seems like we'll see at least 3 so far.

Media Molecule- kind of expected from everyone now.
Housemarque- likely? http://abload.de/img/untitledfdasspsb9.png
and
The press got invitations and in the invitation they're talking about an unannounced japanese PS4 game (from Sony) which will be there. Hopefully it won't be behind closed doors.

I knew this would happen, just surprised it hasn't happened earlier. I'm hoping Sony will also get BluePoint to work their magic on some Vita ports as well.
