Sony Pre-TGS 2014 SCEJA Conference - Wait we're in Japan? [Over]

You REALLY can't imagine why people are disappointed? Look at your list and what it is missing. The big games/exclusives people have been waiting for and ANYTHING 2014. A third of that list won't even leave Japan.

I do not know of those big exclusives that would come from Japan. I can think of Kingdom Hearts and FF, both of which had already been announced. Maybe Monster Hunter...
Please cite some exemples.

Oh, wow! I didn't know FFXV was PS4 exclusive originally. That is huge.
Wonder how much MS had to pay for SE
. That's crazy. How did I miss that thread?

Probably nothing, welcome to post 2008, all Final Fantasy console titles have been multiplatform, since the very first FF XIII.

FF XV was never announced as a PS4 exclusive, the game was debuted on Sony's E3 conference but that's it. It was stated in S-E press release in the same day, that both FF XV and Kingdom Hearts III were multiplataforms, and would come to both PS4 and Xbox One.

This conference was for the Japan players. Sonys attempt to raise PS4 sales in Japan. It was really good show in that way. We westerner have shitton of games coming. Iam happy that Japan gets games too and if they sell enough we may see them here too.

Essentially this. As a gamer living in Japan, I thought it was a good showing. Looking forward to a lot of these.

I'm genuinely holding out hope for Everybody's Golf 7 on PS4. Still working on my platinum 2 years later for the last one (finally got that albatross!) and I still love it as much as ever.

Having just had DoA5 Last Round announced, if we get a new EG that'll mean my two most played and favourite non-narrative PS3 games / game franchises will have had updates announced within two days of each other. Some weekend for me!

Welp, I got what I wanted! Called it, too!

+few more I think

If I didn't already own a PS4, I would buy one of these in an instant. Which one I can't decide, but Toro is love and to have him on the front of a console is an automatic win.

They should just sell the top cover part. They are detachable.

I love the last one. Toro is musing "What is love?"

Oh shit, really? I didn't know there was such a thing as detachable plates on the PS4. In that case, I'll definitely look into buying a couple. I suppose these would only be available from Japanese stores?

The glossy piece on the PS4 is removable for you to replace the HDD if desired.

And yeah, probably Japan only...

It doesn't matter. I'll import the shit out of the Toro / Kuro plates! :D

So I'm home now from the hospital, heard there is a exclusive DQ for PS4. Is it a mainline title? Also did Sony show anything on Vita?

Can we discuss some Verendus posts?

Nothing major though.

1. Dragon Quest will return to Playstation. This doesn't mean it's exclusive. Discussions at the moment.

2. Capcom has the next Street Fighter already in the works (don't know exact stage so kind of pointless really), even though Ono said a few months ago about the resources not being allocated or whatever. They're doing something though so not sure how that fits in what he said.

3. Someone should go prod the Tales head about PS4 Tales. They have one in concept. So, I expect next Tales after the next PS3 Tales? Safe bet. I don't think this that big news though. Although good if you're hoping for JRPGs to arrive a little earlier this time.

See? I can be nice even though I like to mess around with you the majority of the time.

They're making plans for a new IP to be exactly that. Essentially, it'll be an imitation of the FF style, but it's early stages at the moment. So, you'll be waiting a while before you hear anything. Team needs to be built etc.

My hope for a AAA SCEJ JRPG is high.

Just one curiosity: how many Musou games we saw it during the conference?

I remember:

One Piece Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSV]
Dragon Quest Heroes [PS3/PS4] - It's not Musou exactly, but it is
