Sexy lesbian ghost game comes to Steam uncensored

Lol who plays these "games"

I do, nice to meet you! There is a lot variance in VNs from silly/cute to simply porn to proper serious storys with or without explicit scenes and lastly there are those stupid VNs that don't do anything well (Sakura, Go Go nippon, Huniepop) which for some reason are the most dominant on steam.

If you have an open mind try playing Planetarian on Steam. It's a well made VN with no explicit content, it's cheap and short and you don't have to do any choices. Maybe you like it?

Recently the SteamSpy guy wrote an article "Your Target Audience doesn't exist".
It's really interessting and it boils down to that bland demo statements are reductionist.
For example general consensus would say Senran Kagura is for males, my anecdotal evidence tells me it is far more popular with females.
But does it even matter who enjoys what title? As long as there is something enjoyable to someone in there I'll be happy (there are far to many terrible VNs on steam).

i think it's kinda disingenuous to say something as pretentious as this

"...Seeing frank depictions of same-sex relationships welcomed on such a major gaming platform is a true testament to the open-mindedness of our society and the growing desire for mature entertainment that people of all walks of life can enjoy."

when the people that are gonna be playing your game are straight dudes who drool over anime 15 year old girls feeling each other up.

that said, the opening little video seems cute and although i'm not entirely sure that this was developed with a queer audience in mind, i'm sure it'll be appreciated by some folks :]

Looking forward to seeing how this game will accurately portray a same sex relationship between dead people.

Why are visual novels considered games?

Why are static cardboard cutouts with with numbers appearing over their heads considered games?

PLAY THE SEXY LESBIAN EROGE THAT BEAT THE CENSORS

TOTALLY UNCUT

RATED T FOR TEEN

I read this with Jeff Gertsmann's voice and it's even funnier.

EVERYDAY LIFE WITH MONSTER GIRLS

I feel a strong moral imperative to support the LBG community by purchasing this title.

If you think about it, their silent majority is over 100 billion strong. They NEED the outreach!

Probably the same people who play Bioware games.

11 out of 79 images for the CG set contain 18+ material if you can call it that. Truly the game is a sinful male-insert paradise about non-stop girl fucking.

Even if it's the "interactive" version of a bad romance book with equally bad sex scenes, it's still amusing to see the derision these cause.

Hell yes, the world needs more romance stories with ghost girls.

What reason would they not be?
They aren't really. That's why they are defined as visual novels because they are just that, 'interactive' novels. They don't have any 'game' elements as much as Excel isn't a game.
Which isn't to say they are bad at what they do or to discredit them. Unless you bring that up in the context of elitism which isn't the point of that argument.

My understanding is that as far as yuri games go, this one is pretty solid even if you're not a straight dude. That being said... the way that translator (who isn't the head one) talks about it really rubs me the wrong way, and it reminds me a lot about how PR people/employees talk about fanservicey games too. A game with issues can still have some pretty nice sides to it. It's disconcerting to see something pushed as more than it is when being honest about it and still pointing out that there's a cool aspect to it definitely gets my respect more.

Maybe I was mistaken, but I was pretty sure Yuri was pretty evenly split between men and women who enjoy it in Japan, even leaning more towards being targeted at women.

I feel like there's actually a pretty big difference between Yuri as a genre and "Lesbian Porn"

It's not a pornographic nomenclature. You could live a whole life reading and watching nothing but, well, non pornographic yuri fiction. And non fiction.
