50% is fair. IIRC Dota compendium for TI is only 25% to the prize pool. I just hate fact that sticker money goes directly to players instead of the prize pool.

They should do 50% Valve, 25% sticker, 25% pricepool.

What I think they have to change when it comes to majors is their approach to declare which tournament will be a major on the fly where you never know what will be the next major until a couple months before. Last year it was Katowice and DHW, then it's Cluj and MLG, the dates always change etc. You can't build a brand around your biggest tournaments when you do it like that. Instead establish 4 tournaments that will be the majors every year during the same time period. Go the Tennis route and try to build a brand around them so that everyone knows when and where the majors are.

Dota has 3 majors AND an international on top of that and we get 3 lousy 250k majors. Have 4 majors, one in the spring, summer, fall and winter and have them be the same 4 events every year.

Which means Dreamhack Cluj had around 3.3 million.

Hopefully sticker sales can maintain this, because IMO the guaranteed 3 million prize pool for Dota is better than a "lets hope everyone buys shitty stickers" approach

Leaves $8,250,000 in sticker money. Like you said, $1.5 Mil for Katowice, $4.2 Mil for Cologne, that leaves $2,500,000 for Cluj.

Been playing CS for the better part of 14 years, with a few breaks in between. After my most recent and longest break, about a year, I decided to jump into CSGO entirely this last week and let go of Source. Bought it at launch, but spent most of my time on Source after the fact.

Got placed GN2 after my 10 wins and when looking at the ranks, I thought was kinda low after consistently dropping high 20s and being top fragger majority of time. I know overall points/mvp matter more, but anyways.. Having a good time playing. Definitely ran into some smurfs. My last competitive game, my team lost 13-16 on Inferno to a guy who was just absolutely ridiculous with the awp. Dropped about 40 kills.

At 14 competitive wins now, and got to GNM. Would definitely like to play with others, if someone is interested. I think I'm about a MG2/MGE player, after I start consistently playing again.

Already caught the skin bug, as I play league, but I have a hard time clicking the buy button on some of these knife prices. Opening cases is fun, lol.

VP without snax is worse than I thought. C9 taking a map off TSM is more impressive.

VP and G2 are complete opposites despite both playing "basic" CS. Every player in G2 can be replaced with a good fragger and the team will perform
