Somewhat related to that, it's funny when people from both sides boast on twitter/reddit about how the huge majority of answered calls are from people favourable to their candidate and how that is a symptom the whole state is overwhelmingly in favour.

That's the whole point of Phonebanking, you don't get random numbers from the phonebook, it's demo/campaign data of likely voters for your candidate.

Yep. I'm unsure it has any major effect.

I'm reading through your OP, for some reason the parts where the word should be "while" turned into "why".

Under Colorado you have
"Republican cannot find one credible challenger one of their two changes to play offensive this year. A mess!!"
need plural "Republicans" and correct "changes" to "chances"

lol

Good job tho

IMO It has if you understand its' purpose and limitations. It's not about convincing people. They get you to ring numbers of people that should be already leaning to your candidate.

The point is to inform those likely voters when/how to vote and to get out the vote. They are already on your side, you want them to vote.

The second objective is to give clean data to canvassers, GOTV teams. From that list of likely voters, you cross out all that are leading to your opponent or vote for another party.

Phonebanking impact in convincing or switching voters is minimal compared to on the ground work. It has its' uses but I found funny that some people doing Phonebanking don't understand why they are doing it.

It wasn't my money. Some cranky old guy said he wasn't allowed to put his money in a bank. Something about doing his laundry.

Bernie defends Illuminati

JOHN PRINCE: You have mentioned earlier that your Jewish faith, like most of us, makes our morals, our values, and our beliefs, right?

You grew up 18 years as a Jewish man in Brooklyn, and I read on Wikipedia, this might be wrong, you actually studied in Israel for a year...

As you know, the Zionist Jews, and I don't mean to offend anybody... They run the Federal Reserve, they run Wall Street, they run every campaign--

[boos in the crowd]

What is your affiliation to your Jewish community? That’s all I’m asking.

BERNIE SANDERS: No, no, no, that's not what you're asking.

Brother, brother, brother. I am proud to be Jewish, but the idea... but you're not going to find any candidate on either side of the aisle who will talk about Zionism and the middle east. I am a strong defender of Israel, but I also believe that we have got to pay attention to the needs of the Palestinian people."

Thanks. I don't see the whys, though.

So why us lawless abortion-loving commies on NeoGAF debate the merits of #ImWithHer and #FeelTheBern, there is a new, lingering conversation that's become even more important -- downticket races. For those that don't understand, America elects its executive on a different slate than its legislature. We also have two co-equal branches of our legislature.

State: Wisconsin
Challenger: Sen. Ron Johnson
Website: russfeingold.com/
Act Blue Donation Link: https://secure.actblue.com/contribut...uss-feingold-3
Primary Date: August 9, 2016

Write up: After losing in 2010, progressive hero Russ Feingold is back to challenge Tea Party-backed Ron Johnson in a rematch of his 2010 loss. Polling has shown Feingold consistently above Johnson, and for good reason: Why Wisconsin isn't as Democratic-leaning as Illinois, Johnson is one of the more conservative members of the Senate. He's done nothing to moderate his image, acts more like a Senate from Missouri than Wisconsin, and has been vocally frustrated about his role in the Senate. It's very likely that Feingold wins and gives Wisconsin delegates two of the most progressive members of the US Senate (along with Tammy Baldwin).
