Comey just said the FBI has already been investigation Trump Russia ties.
Comey confirmed the FBI is investigating Trump and his team's connection with Russia. no details yet.
Comey confirmed there is an open FBI investigation into ties and possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, but nothing beyond that.
They're afraid of Trump's base. Until Trump's approval numbers among Republican voters start falling, then the party is not going to abandon Trump.
Comey confirmed and investigation. They probably won't get into any crazy specifics though.

They confirmed they are investigating the election and collusion. Also that they cant talk about it.

Aside from Comey confirming an FBI investigation, I sincerely doubt we'll get anything "earth shattering". They've specifically stated they won't be discussing classified matters or anything that hasn't been reported on publicly or made part of the public record.

The biggest revelation we were likely to get from this whole thing was solid confirmation from Comey that the FBI were, in fact, actively investigation Trump/Russia ties and how those may or may not have affected the election - and that's what we got

You have the FBI director confirming he is investigation collusion between the President's campaign and Russia. The FBI doesn't investigate these things unless they have enough probable cause.
