Do think Flynn will just happily sink for Trump and his Administration? It's pretty obvious he knows a lot. If he sinks, he will sink them with him. At least that's what I would do if I were Flynn.

Well, part of him requesting immunity a month or so back was so that he could tell all, right? In exchange? It doesn't sound like the guy is loyal enough to anybody beyond himself, given the fact he's an opportunistic traitor. It's in his best interest now to cooperate, so I hope he does.

I listened to the whole thing. He also didn't insinuate that it was treason he just flat out said he thought it was treason. Yet kushner was totally Normal

It's comical that their tactic is to try and normalize Russia. GTFO...people aren't stupid and yet they keep trying to treat people as if they don't know Russia is the enemy.

This is Trump's only way out now I think. He has to convince his party somehow that getting close to Russia was actually a good thing and always intended. There is no f'ing way some of the longtime Rs on Capital Hill should tolerate that stance though.. I think this whole situation is going to end very poorly.

Coward Russian puppet Assange hasn't left the embassy yet even when the Swedes dropped the charges.

I think Flynn has a golden parachute waiting for him if he shuts up so he must be deep in it with Trump etc. I guess it's only option to get away with it.

The obvious potential to expand that definition to also cover the Trump-based leaks is a thing, but the specific subject matter that prompted it does seem to be a non-whistleblowing legitimately problematic leak.

With the investigation, the Republican party will have to vote not to impeach Trump. They probably figure that they can't stop evidence from coming up, so the only way out is to try and make the collusion and communications look like not that big of a deal over the next 1-2 years.

It's beyond my comprehension how 8 months ago the idea that Hillarys private email server was the greatest threat to our democracy. Fast forward today and the sitting president is sharing classified info to Russians in the Oval Office with no US media present. Kushner is asking for back channel communications etc.

Oh well. At least it's not socialism amirite

The problem with that attempt is that Flynn likely violated state laws too, which Trump can't pardon. That's why you have certain State AGs going after the Trump campaign.

If the FBI presses charges and pursues, does it really matter what any of these shit-heel politicians think in the end? I mean, Trump can just keep pardoning everyone until it gets to the top, but in the meantime everything should still be fully investigated as per the rule of the law.

It's not the 1700's anymore. Look it up. In severest of the severe (which this isn't), the death penalty is sought. Commonly prison time, fines, and never being able to hold office again are the penalties.
