Here's a random question to anyone/everyone...

For tournaments like Mae Young Classic, what is the perk (real life, not 'wresting') of agreeing to go do it unless they're going to book you to go pretty far in it?

Like, there's a bunch of women right now who signed up for "Get beat in 1 match in WWE." as the end game. Seems odd, no?

Exposure on a huge platform.

Appearing on WWE TV means a lot for indies.

Some of them almost certainly have either been offered (already) or will be offered (after their match) NXT deals. Others just want more exposure

More money, plus I figure most women will make it to the second round. There's a fair few NXT girls in the tournament already who will probably be first round jobbers. Plus even if they don't win, afterwards they go to either NXT or the women's show.

Pretty much, your stock rises any time you touch WWE, or even have a cup of coffee in their offices. Being able to have a match on WWE programming without being tied to a contract AND without the stigma of being a jobber? Even the people that go out in the first round are treated like stars. Your stock goes way up.

I think though for the women's tournament, to be in it you must sign a contract. I haven't heard of anyone in it who hasn't signed. They probably wanna avoid a ZSJ/Ibushi situation of sending someone far into the tournament only for them to not sign.

It's got so bad man. I am starting to think most of Gaf can't function in society

You're hyper-focused on the weirdos. It's fine. Everything's fiiine.

Shut up, Data West.

Also, happy birthday.

Excuse you?

Get 'em.

So about that e-mail chain.......

We are an embarrassment. What is wrong with this country? How are we not better than this? I just want to get past it all. We can get past it all, right, Kaladin? Tell me people will stop being stupid because of TEAM SPORTS.

Finn said that he tells people who don't follow wrestling that he's an "entertainer" but tries to avoid the topic of his career altogether. 😂😂😂

Edit -- when other obviously large wrestlers got spotted in NXT he'd lie and say he wasn't a wrestler and just did office work LMAO.

FINN IS THE BEST. Being embarrassed by wrestling has to be his new gimmick.

Making my way through Balls of Fire.

I love angsty Braun as he shuffles away from the ambulance "Leave me allllooone!".

Braun to appear in 3 months as Crow Braun.

Brock vs Joe next.

No wonder he isn't getting pushed at the moment. Why would Vince want a guy who avoids saying what his job is to be the face of his company

even finn knows that wrestling is at the bottom of the totem pole

Dude will admit to being an adult who loves playing with legos but won't admit to getting millions annually to wrestle professionally.

Okay, upon this new evidence I will amend my "no indy scrubs allowed" policy and like Finn
