About the prank with ink, i would call it cruel from parents, not sure i would use the word abuse, but hell, why do that prank to your kids? This rmeinds me about the fake video where parents have a kid believing he gets a Xbox by gifting him a cardboard box with the name xbox, then when he opens it there are clothes. The kid finally gets a console, but it is obvious parents amde fun at the expense of their kid, and i find that a bit cruel.

The prank itself,+ the public humiliation.

If you haven't been following the story, the mainstream news reports all hid the other videos where there is horrific physical, mental, verbal, and emotional abuse all in high abundance. These kids were getting the shit beat out of them in a daily basis by the parents and each other. The little boy alone has several bleeding wounds and scars in nearly all the videos.

Take that in. The little boy is bleeding in a lot of their videos from the "pranks" pulled on him

Wait, did he only pull this shit with the two kids from his ex? If so, that is EXTRA fucked up.

Or does he do it to all the kids?

It looks like all of them got shit from the dad, but it definitely seemed like those two kids got it worse than anyone.

I hope the mom is in a good enough place to take care of the kids, but at the least they aren't going to have their whole life displayed on camera in humiliating ways anymore (God I hope so anyway. I could see TLC running around the corner looking for a buck).

Does anyone know why did she lose the kids in the first place?

I guess the mom is just nervous and emotional, but she looks really out of it in the video.

It's been said that they falsified legal documents to gain custody, also using her bipolar diagnosis as leverage.
I can't comment on how true that is or how mentally fit the biological mom is for the job, but that's how the story goes.

I always supported action being taken to remove the kids from the Do5 family but I didn't necessarily support returning them to the biomom simply because I know very little about her and can't assume anything.

However as I understand it it's a tough life for kids in the system and life was certainly shit with Do5, so if the court decided it was for the best, that's cool with me.

Man, nice to see such good news. I really hope the kids don't hold it against the biological mother, since they probably won't be getting as many toys in return for being tortured.

Thank god they got had because Christ the one video that was just screaming about the invisible ink was hard for me to watch.

That's how I got treated as a kid for actually fucking something up, so it was awful to see it completely constructed just to abuse him

We? Unless we have people here who took part in making videos exposing this abuse or were actually involved in getting the kids away from those assholes we didn't do shit.

Glad they're away and I hope their mother is fully capable of taking care of them.

We posted about it on gaf.

Also glad something is being done about this. I hope they get treated like gold from here on out.

If you are being purposefully cruel to your kid. That IS abuse. Compound that with you exploiting them on the internet...

I hope this is the best outcome for the kids.

Getting Cody and Emma away from the obvious abuse is great news, but my gut tells me that this isn't exactly the happy ending everyone wants. The courts obviously got it very wrong the last time, but I wonder how that can be. The general background story of it all leaves me with lots of doubts.

Hope everything works out for the kids. It sounds like it's going to be really hard on Cody in particular, if his dad had been feeding him lies about his mom. Their previous house seemed pretty nice with a lot of toys and video games in it and stuff, so I hope the kids aren't resentful or feel punished, like it was their fault or something.

Nice, hope this turns out as good as it possibly can. And regarding that video of the mom and the lawyer, there was another video someone posted where she says she really doesn't like being on camera, so she's just shy lol.

I hope they're okay.
When the internet has forgotten about these kids they'll still be out there and this guy will still be their dad.
I don't know them and I don't know their mother but I hope they're able to have a stable, safe place to grow-up and it will be the parents, and the state, that makes sure that happens, not YouTube.

Good to see that the most affected are with their biological mother now. I hope they receive all the help they'll need.

Toys and video games that at any moment were destroyed in front of them for clicks. Removing that emotional fear will do wonders for those kids and I'm willing to bet someone would donate an Xbox that he can enjoy.

I understand what you are saying I just think the fear they lived with overshadows any toys.

This is great! I hope the kids are in a much better place now, with a loving parent who won't abuse them on camera for money (nor for any other reason).

Part of me feels like there's no happy ending to this story no matter what happens. Few things in life could be worse than what they were going through at their dad's, so it should be an improvement, but something tells me life at their mom's isn't exactly great. Just wish for the best i guess, at least the abuse will stop

That official lawyer video makes me uncomfortable for some reason. Why'd he have to do a video with his fat logo in the background and make the mom be on camera when she clearly doesnt want to be...

Maybe he was working pro bono. But yeah, she was most definitely uncomfortable.

This is true, I just worry in the short term that kids can look at things very myopically and just directly compare what they had before versus now, and then retroactively gloss over the bad stuff. Their dad did some work on the kids trying to normalize and rationalize this awful pattern in their brains. I hope, after removing that emotional fear, that those rationalizations disappear immediately and they can enjoy a more stable and loving family life.

That would be amazing if someone donated him an Xbox. The internet is good at those kinds of hook-ups these days, I wouldn't be surprised either if it happened. :)

"We just wanted our kids to be happy and we went about it the wrong way"

lol. yathink? Who would have thought that beating, and abusing people wouldn't make them happy?

Just watched the first Phil DeFranco ep in the OP, and that montage of them fcuking with the little kid (Cody?) is just impossible to watch. It's literaly video evidence of mental damage being caused to a child. You can actually physically see in his reaction, him doing everything in his power to repress lashing out.
