Honestly, Mike Ross's team is ass. It really is. The only symmetry is has is to get people off Storm's ass via Hulk assist. I don't care how much he was training; there's no way he could have gotten real team symmetry at that level within a couple weeks.

I agree. I really want to see those two play some extended matches before the game is "figured out". They seem to be the best at discovering new things and excelling early.

I don't what the crowd was thinking.

I'm going to make the argument now that besides the immediate super, Strange is going to be close to bottom tier. I don't give a fuck that he's got teleports. Without an airdash, his mobility is bleh. He also doesn't seem to deal that much damage, and outside of impact palm his normals are ass. I mean, people will prolly figure him out, but I think at this point Iron Fist is going to rise up the ranks and Strange will just fall.

I have that feeling as well, to be honest.
He's my favorite of the new characters, but I just can't finger point what's really wrong with him, although his mobility is terrible and I hate his damn normals!

However, if FChamp picked Ghost Rider, again, Doctor Strange, or Phoenix (with Dormammu, of course) the results would've been less "free."

It feels like the dev team were going for a type of character that was Phoenix without Dark Phoenix, but the things that make Phoenix so awesome are her mobility and her amazing normals. It's like, the antithesis of Strange. His normals and mobility are terrible. He can teleport, but he can't wavedash that well, he has no airdash, and his range for normals is awful. Why would you ever want to play him, especially over amazing characters like Nova? That's another prediction: Nova = top 5. Easy.

Why have what could have potentially been the best and hypest set of matches for the night (Justin vs Combo) when we could just get a re-run of what happened with Combo vs Marn? Because seriously, that's what the beatdown would have resembled if Combo and Jago had played.

It boggles my mind that the crowd and Gootecks did not push more for a Justin vs Combo ft5. But I guess that salt was deep in those wounds.

Which is why I put him as a point character with godlike assists. lol

I've actually started using Nova recently, just for shit and giggles.

I don't know about him being Top 5 just yet, but he's definitely better than Doctor Strange, but it's just that I asked for Stephen, because I like him as a character, just like Jean. :\

If it was just some random get together without any beef going on, I would've went for [Justin vs. Combo] and so would the entire building, but it's just that... after all was said (and made), then come to find out, you got niggas bowing down to others behind the scenes?!

There is a friendly rivalry that includes some shit talking and promo cutting. Jago came out here, handled his business, and the crowd was salty and wanted instant retribution at the hands of Combofiend. Jago & Combofiend both know that it would just be a slaughter and they don't do what the crowd wanted. Twisting this into some act of cowardice or "bowing down" in the face of mad "beef" means that you are taking this a little too seriously. Are you a wrasslin' fan, perchance?

I'm salty at Jago for saying "he's too good" (although, we don't know if he was actually being sarcastic, remember he's said Combofiend is good at "Dodging Me, Motherfucker," a great game actually) and Combofiend for not talking shit like he was doing at Cross Counter Live on the mic, to pressure Jago to fight, in order to either "Avenge" or "Expose" West Coast.

Saying someone is good at "Dodging me, motherfucker," but dodging at Bar Fights is cowardice and pretty hypocritical.
Of course, SoCal is going to look salty when demanding a [Jago vs. Combofiend] match after Mike Ross getting destroyed, but you have to take in consideration that Jago fired at BOTH Mike Ross AND Combofiend, so it was highly expected for him to face both of them "to prove he isn't a fraud."

I just think after Jagos match they should have just left it. If a crowd is salty as fuck that is awesome. Now you get to use the jago returns to bar fights for their next event so the salty west coast crowd can hopefully in their view see jago lose.

Gootecks done fucked up by trying to setup Combo vs Jago right than and there. Which in the end resulted in Crowd getting even more mad. ROFL.

Guys, unfortunately after the match Noel Brown walked across the street to get something to eat and was struck by a vehicle who ran a light and the motorist left the scene.

The good news is, Noel uttered "That was not an official hit and run" dusted himself off and returned to the venue unscathed. Amazing.

Are you not familiar with Jago or something? Dude is basically a fighting game heel, and he's awesome at it. It was only "expected" that he fight Combo after since he destroyed Mike Ross. If Mike had won the crowd would not have been begging for a Jago/Combo match. Our boy lost and we wanted his tougher big brother to come and pound on the dude that beat him.

Apart from the knives match and justin v champ I thought the whole thing was pretty disappointing. I'm glad to see Mike "Rossington" Ross get blown up though.

Heard on other forums they were taken down, probably by CC aiming to release them on youtube bit by bit for hits on their channel. Just rumours, but likely. Really wanted to catch that hype Iron Fist play too.

The entire end to the barfights was completely, completely awkward. Gootecks was pushing for a Combofiend v. Jago match, but it was clear that Jago didn't want to get blown up in public, and Combofiend didn't want to force someone to play against him.

It could've been handled better. Jago was going to be the "bad guy" no matter what, win or lose, and the crowd wanted his head.

I'm still kinda salty we didn't get to see Justin vs Combofiend in a FT5. The fact that we were denied this because people wanted to see Jago get bodied by CF makes it even worse. So stupid.
