Except I didn't say I stopped at the first conversation. I said I got bored at the first conversation. Because it's visually and narratively boring.
Isn't every area roughly the same as that intro dungeon, though? I've heard it compared to Fable structurally on several podcasts.
Walk down hallway, fight baddies with bad camera hovering around, continue walking down hallway. Except in the open world there are mountains on either side of the hallway?
Awesome, thanks! Downloading now.Demo up on PSN via search.

Damn, I never thought to do a search to look for it, before they update the storefront. Good thinking.
I guess you didn't read the part where I said I was under the impression the world was structured like Fable's (invisible walls, load screens between areas, etc...). I know now that its true open world majesty doesn't reveal itself until you get past the "tutorial".This is like saying Skyrim is linear only after playing the tutorial dungeon at the begining and not actually leaving.
Er-that's common practice for anything PSN related.
Anyone from Australia found a way to download it on PC? Can't seem to get it on Steam or Origin.
I'm in NZ, found it with search on Steam. The download button is on the right of the buy button on the store page.
Pc gamling seems to be in better shape than ever judging by this thread
Can't the technical pc issues be discussed elsewhere? I doubt the majority of neogaf cares about filter issues or missing mouse pointers on some graphic card...
Pretty great demo. 98% positive, but the negative....
I cant stand that I cant jump, and
I HATE the invisible walls. 2 feet above a river, but cant jump into it, needing to run around to land that is "level" with the water, is just .... stupid for 2012.
But yeah, the other 98% is rockin'.
Does this also mean you can't knock enemies off cliffs? Will they just smack into the invisible walls?I cant stand that I cant jump, and

Ugh... my screen glitches out after the opening cinematic. Pretty much just a black screen with the subtitles overlapping each other. Other than creating my character, I can't do anything. Anyone else have this problem?
Is there any way to check that the ME3 items were unlocked? I couldn't log onto my EA account so I skipped that part.
Looks pretty good so far. Didn't run into any game-breaking bugs and I managed to get it to run on my old laptop (8400M GS).
Camera was initially really sensitive, but I lowered it and it was fine.
One complaint I have is that the UI is made for a controller, which can get aggravating when your inventory starts to fill up.
I'm curious how many of you who are having these problems are playing on PC as opposed to console. I haven't really encountered any bugs yet on the 360, but I haven't really been out looking for them. Also, remember. THREE MONTH OLD BUILD. The issues I'm reading about are the kinds of issues that get fixed over that time period.

Holy shit, and no mention of EA on the Steam version! It looks like they self-published there. Awesome stuff.
