Did Marn really DQ himself from Marvel by leaving early, or has he been knocked out early and that's why he's leaving early?

Stream monsters outnumber tournament attendees by a huge margin. The handful of people at tournaments don't keep the lights on at Capcom and Mad Catz; stream monsters and casuals do.

Companies that have contempt for their audience are easy enough to avoid. If Mad Catz doesn't want their business, it's just as easy to buy a stick from Hori.

Well here's the thing. MarkMan is more than just a madcatz representative. His sentiment came from being part of that handful of people at tournaments who were there before there were streams, sponsors and everything else that came with the glamour of sf4.

It's nice to make yourself feel more important by counting your numbers, but it's more comparable to being a fish in the sea. Are you as an individual stream viewer (or troll) more important than the people who attend the event? Probably not, because your investment is not that high, and if you switch to hori, there can easily be another guy that gets introduced to the scene and buys madcatz products.

loves Arcade Sticks
So I see stream viewers are getting upset and misunderstanding my quote where I say "Stream Monsters are not a part of the FGC." I don't consider someone who watches/enjoys and participates in a cordial manner (being supportive) a monster. The term "stream monster" was created with negative connotation. That scum that just trolls & is negative. Yes, those people are not my community. Everyone else, <3.
