It looks like they won't stop jerking us around, instead of giving us the new trailer they are gonna introduce the "dirty dozen" all around the web tomorrow. Christ.

Are you ready to meet The Expendables?

Each member of the #DirtyDozen will be introduced across the web tomorrow, one by one. Do you think you can find them all? Warning; only the toughest badasses will succeed.

Holy shit, it's back to an R-Rating? Why isn't this huge news? Or have I really been living under a rock?

Because it was shot for PG13 and after Sly got a lot of backlash from fans for pulling his punches for money (which he said he would never do again when making RAMBO IV), he decided to try and 'R' it up in post. Get ready for some ADR'd f-bombs and CG blood.

Yeah. Certain cast member (not Stallone) are back in Bulgaria re shooting some scenes this week.

It could be to R it up a little.

New pic and the synopsis.

The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal… Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way….

I think it's
Rourke. It's his knife that Van Damme holds in the teaser

It was my understanding that
Rourke turned down the movie altogether. Also, wasn't his character retired or something in the first movie? I don't see how they're gonna pull off him taking part in a raid and being "brutally killed" without showing him, aside from it being all off screen with someone calling the action.

When they first started production, the officially released synopsis stated that
Rourke's character died
and thus the Expendables were out to avenge him. So who knows if that's been changed or not.

Stallone is much more hands off on this film than his previous recent efforts. This is a much more studio controlled film, he was pretty clueless on how the casting was even going this time.

It's gotta be Jet Li that dies early. I mean TWO Asian characters in the same movie? Come on. Plus he's not on the poster and I haven't seen him in any promotional pics either.

Maybe it doesn't mean as much to most people today, but as a child of the 80s the fact that Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme, Willis and Norris are all going to be kicking ass in the same movie is still blowing my mind. It was surreal watching the trailer and seeing them all together.

It's great. EX1 is worth your time too. So good.

So I saw the bootleg version of the real trailer.

Jesus. That is all I can say. It looks like everything I wished the first one was.

I have a feeling Van Damme is going to steal the show.

It really looks like what we wanted from the first movie. I have no doubt that Simon West helped keep the movie on track and the action looks like it has less shaky cam. I wanted to cut my eyes out while watching Safe this last weekend.

This must be a Trilogy. Saving the best for last. Seagal as per his "Out for Justice" and "Above the Law" version.
