Thank you. Its not as simplistic as I dont like people who like MLP. There are plenty things out there I dont personally like. But the MLP culture of "bronies" make me feel uneasy. I don't really dislike bronies per say, but I just feel creeped out around them. I think it's mainly due to a combination of the weird sexual section of the MLP fanbase, the obsession over a little girl's show by grown men, and the large amounts of social issues some of them have. I don't know what sort of fan they are (do they enjoy the sexual aspects or enjoy the show on it's own merits) and I tend to associate them of them with the crazy fans unless I get to know them.
I have a close friend who's REALLY into MLP. I don't really mind because she's really awesome and while she is relatively sane her brony friends are really awkward and creepy. They make it their entire lives and essentially breathe MLP. I went to one of their apartments and it was coated in MLP merchandise and posters to the point where it looked like some MLP shrine. I was so creeped by it; mainly due to the fact I'm was pretty sure he's sexually attracted to MLP characters. By that same standard though, I find it a little off-putting whenever anyone becomes so obsessed with something that their room's become a shrine to it.
Maybe if I never had bad IRL experiences with MLP fans that were insane I'd be more accepting. Two were sexually attracted to them (one literally tried to make me understand the sexual appeal of them), one stalked my friend, and another seemed to be near violent to people who didn't understand the appeal of MLP. Community aside, I hate what every single GAF thread that even grazes the franchise turns into. Can't discuss the news, it has to always become some meta-discussion (not to mention punishment-free bashfest) about bronies and how can they like this and they're probably into this creepy fanart you saw and on and on, not like it hasn't been explained a hundred times before.
And for the record, that's some of the jankiest animation I've seen on an Avatar item like that. Usually props and pets have surprisingly smooth, decent animation, given the limitations.
